Just like the title suggest, where will you be 10 years down the road? Will you be doing the same thing? Are you still working with the same company? Will you still be earning the same income and living the same lifestyle like now?

This is a very important question if you want to be successful in life.

This question triggers you to think about your future. It does not necessarily needs to be 10 years. It can be 20 years or just 5 years.

The key is to think ahead of your life. Most people never think about their future, which is the biggest reason they are living an ordinary life.

If you don’t believe me, just try to think back 10 years or 5 years of your life. What have you accomplish?

For some, they will have increased the quality of their lives and achieved some of their goals.

However, for most people, they are still the same. They will be doing the same thing again and again. Caught up in the rat race and the life maze.

They never live the life they desire and they keep on living their lives without knowing the true purpose of life.

If you are reading this right now, this will be the wake up call for you.

Think about your future and plan for it right now. You have to think about what you want in the next 5 years and so you can come up with a plan on how to achieve it.

You must not wait until after 5 years only to say out what you want. It will be too late by that time.

When Is The Best Time To Succeed?

Do you know what is the best time to invest? Or what is the best time to lose weight? Or what is the best time to plant a tree? Or what is the best time to study to score?

The best time to be who you want to be and to achieve what you want to accomplish in your life is right now.

In fact, the best time will be 1 or 2 or 3 or 5 or 10 years ago. However, since you cannot change what had happened and you cannot go back to the past, the best time to create the life you always wanted, is now.

Therefore, think about the future you want right now and start to create a plan to achieve it. You will need to move slowly and take steps to achieve your goals and make your dreams come true.

Success Is A Big Step Chunk Down Into Many Small Steps

And remember, achieving success is not a one step process. It is a multi-step process.

Most people think that success will come to them right away and in just one step. This is not true. It is just like building a house. You first need the blueprint. Next you will need to have land surveyor to do their work. After that you will need to have people building the foundation.

The slabs, the column, the first floor slab, the roof, and then only comes to the brick work. What I’m trying to show you is that success or achieving your goals will take a lot of small steps.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

Just Do It And The Road Will Reveal Itself

You don’t have to know exactly what you need to do or all the details of your future if you want to achieve it. You just need to have a rough idea of what you want.

For example, if you are planning and thinking about your future 20 years from now, you will have difficulties if you think about all the details in one time.

The thing is, you don’t have to. What you have to do is to know what you want, but not to the smallest details. Just an idea of what you want to accomplish, what kind of lifestyle you want to live or how much you want to earn will do.

The most important key is for you to take action each and everyday.

Just like driving in the night. You don’t need to have a super light that will show you the road. You just need an ordinary headlight. You just need to be able to see through what lies 50 meters ahead of you.

And you can reach your destination that is 100km away. See what I mean?

You just need to know where you are going. In other words, you need to know your destination, but you don’t have to know all the small steps that you need to take in the journey.

Just start taking action and the road will reveal itself.
