Treat Blogging Seriously

If you are a blogger today, did you know the reason that you blog? There must be some reasons for bloggers to blog about something, you must find out the purpose why you blog. If you say that you blog because you want to make money with blogs just like what others are doing, fine, but you must do it seriously. I did not mean that you must keep it the official way. No, not this way, what you have to do is that you should treat your blog as a serious money makers. Like, you must have your own domain name and hosting.

Did you even know what is going to happen if you don’t have your own domain and hosting? Some of the problems just like…

1. It is not your own business if you are using other people’s domain and hosting just like Blogger.com. Blogger owned by Google, meaning that if you use Blogger to host your blog, your blog actually belongs to Google, and not yours. Google can stop your account whenever they feel that your blog’s content is not suitable. Therefore, you will out of business the moment they did this to your blog.
2. You cannot brand yourself and it is hard for you to create credibility as a professional blogger, because you don’t even have your own blog’s domain and hosting. This is common sense, when people heard that your blog domain end with .blogspot, they will think twice for your credibility.
3. Another thing is that you are not going to have full control over your blog. Just like if you are using Blogger, there are some significant changes that you cannot make. Even some of the advance options are missing, such as the ‘category’ sorting, you cannot find this with Blogger.

That is why having your own domain and hosting is so much important. Anyway, if you blog just because of your personal journal, then it will be fine to go with Blogger. However, if your reason here today is to blog for profit, then you will have to be serious about it.

The only difference between a successful blogger and an ordinary blogger is the level of commitment. Successful bloggers who earn thousands from their blog simply because they are committed with blogging, they treat blogging as their business, they are serious with it. That is why they can achieve much more. What about you?
