You know, you can start creating a blog, and keep on posting fresh and quality contents every single day, but why there is nobody to read your blog? You have to know this, you are not someone special, you are not someone famous, you have to start marketing your blog from the bottom. Well if you are some famous celebrities, there is no need for you to market your blog, people will come to your blog automatically. The fact here is that you are someone nobody knows about, that is why you have to market your blog the hard way. If you are Tiger Woods, and you create a blog today, I believe that within one month, the traffic of your blog will soar because of your fans.

So, this is the place where most bloggers fail, they thought that by simply creating a blog and keep on posting on it, they can make huge amount of money. Often, they provide good content in their blog, but they don’t know how to market it, this is the problem. That is why if you want to build a successful blog with a lot of traffic, then you have to first accept the truth that you have to market your blog, you have to actually put in hard work into marketing your blog. Nobody will do this for you, you have to do this your own. If you think that by constantly posting something valuable and traffic will come automatically, then you are just like buying lotteries everyday, waiting for luck and money to fall from the sky. Why did I say so? Simply because this is your blog, and do you think that other people will help you increase your blog’s traffic? That will be impossible, you have to take the responsibility as the founder of your blog.

Building up your blog with great content is just the starting point. Without good content, who will visit your blog and read your posts? The answer is none. Targeted and long-lasting traffic begin with the content of your blog, if you have great content, and your marketing strategy is right, your blog traffic will soar and you will gain credibility from the net. Just like a magazine, or even newspaper, they must provide good content and market their magazines correctly. If any of these are missing, you will either receive no traffic or only short-term traffic. Now, if you are just starting your blog, and your blog still don’t have much quality content yet, then you should forget about traffic first. Focus in building the content of your blog first, don’t even think about getting 1,000 visitors per day, just concentrate in providing good content that people are looking for in your blog.

Don’t even think about earning money online from your blog, you have to build a rock and solid blog content before you start driving traffic, then only start monetizing your blog. Many people thought that they can earn money online from their blog easily by inserting Adsense, and publish some post in their blog, is this true? You know the answer if you have been in blogging for quite some time. So stop thinking about having tons of traffic and stop day dreaming about how much you are going to make from your blog. Instead, spend your time and energy into building good content, think about your visitors and readers first. This is because they are the one who is going to give you their money!
