The Paradoxical Commandments

Lately I received an email from a reader, he says that he wanted to dedicate a poem to me and all the loyal readers of my blog, The Millionaire Secrets. I can’t thank him enough for sending me that email. Now only I know that my blog has really inspired a lot of people and I hope this can keep on going for the better. I do really hope that you are reading this because this poem is also dedicated to you, the reader!

This poem was written by Dr. Kent M. Keith and is on the wall in Calcutta where mother Theresa lived. However, it has been modified to blend into the topic of my blog.

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have,
and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis,
it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

I really hope that this poem inspire and benefit you in your journey to your success just like me. Thank you Sunahor for bringing up this marvelous poem.

Besides that, I have found a great ‘tool’ that you can use to make yourself committed and inspired all the time. It is called the “Anyway Pledge“. Download it, sign it, and paste it somewhere you can see it often. of course, stick to the principles all the time. If you do so, I believe that you will find yourself moving closer toward the success you have long looking for.

Remember to print it out and sign it. Then paste it on the wall in front of your desk where you can see it often. This is just like in goal setting, be committed and the energy will flow within you.

    Our true wealth is the good we do in this world. None

    what we desire for ourselves.
