I believe that this is what most people did not do it correctly. If you want to earn money online from your blog, then you definitely have to follow this rule, spend 40 percent of your time in building your blog, the other 60 percent in marketing of your blog. It is the marketing that is going to affect your blogging business, not building up your blog. You have to understand this, no matter what kind of business you are in, you are in marketing business. It is marketing that keeps people coming to your blog and purchase whatever you sold in your blog, not by building a nicer blog design, or creating a cool header.

Most people did not do the marketing part, they just keep on posting everyday, inserting all the money makers into their blog. However, they did not actually realize that it is marketing that is going to determine their blog’s success. What I can see is that many people spend most of their blogging time into searching for information and post about it. I know that content and information that you provided in your blog are very important, but if you did not do any marketing for your blog, all the great content that you provide will not get any expose, meaning that it is useless even if you have the number one secret to earn money online, because there are no one there to visit and read your blog.

So now you know it is marketing that will determine your blog’s income, therefore, if you want to make more money from your blog, then you have to run marketing campaign for your blog, just like writing and submitting articles which link to your blog, driving traffic to your blog, telling the whole world about your blog, etc. Most of the bloggers out there give up because they did not know how to market their blogs. They did not receive enough traffic for their blog, they feel that all their effort are wasted because there is actually nobody visit and read what they posted in their blog. This is the main reason, the number one killer that make a blogger gives up.

Since you knew about this now, so try to spend at least 60 percent of your blogging time into marketing your blog, and the rest into building your blog. Marketing your blog is actually how you tell the whole world abut your blog, how are you going to seduce the whole world visit your blog. This is marketing. That is why big companies like Honda, Nike, Adidas and more are willing to spend so much money into marketing their business, simply because your business needs marketing to grow. Without marketing, your business cannot make any profits, it will die.
