Here is the point, how does your content serve your readers? Should you write a long article? Or should you just write a short and simple article? For me, I will prefer to write short and straight forward posts. As you can see in my blog here, all of my posts are not very long. I personally don’t like to write something very long. For me, as long as my point is there, and people understand what I wanted to tell them, than it will be fine. It is not necessarily that you will have to come up with a very long article or post to attract readers.

In fact, short articles are great in achieving the goals as what you recommended in your content. Did you know that the more you write, more mistakes you are going to get? So you should go for short and easy to understand articles instead of writing something long and going round and round. I believe that you bought books to read before, did you find that some of the books you’ve bought are very boring to read? One of the reasons is that the content of the book is too long and it is not straight to the point. This will result in creating a boring content and it is going to drag the story very long.

Well, you can write long articles if you want to. However, you must make sure that your readers will read from the beginning until the end. What is more important here is about the quality of your content. It is not about how many words or pages you have. It is about the information that you are providing for your readers. If you write something long and not what your readers are looking for, they are not going to read them.

Now, you get the idea. So the number of words don’t count, it is the quality of the information that you are going to provide for your readers. However, here is one of the psychological fact, when people see a long article, the first thing gets into their mind is boredom. However, it is still depends on the title and other factors, but the numbers of pages and words do really contribute a lot in first impression. Therefore, make sure that you are doing it right so that your effort will not be wasted.
