If you want to have your blog ranked number one in search engine like Google and Yahoo, then what you need to do is what everyone call, Search Engine Optimization, SEO. You have to optimize your blog in such a way that it will rank number one in search engine when somebody type in certain keywords of your choice. Why I said so is because SEO depends on only two main factors, and these two factors are on-page optimization, where you write your content full with the keywords that you are targeting for. Besides keywords, the title, description, URL, and more of your blog also counts in on-page optimization. Another factor that determine your blog’s ranking is off-page optimization. Off-page optimization is determine by the numbers of links from other websites that point to your blog. The more links that pointing toward your blog, the better your off-page optimization, and hence the higher ranking your blog will get. Between on-page and off-page optimization, off-page optimization contribute a larger effect to your blog’s ranking. Meaning that if you want to have your blog ranks high in search engine, then you need to have a lot of links pointing to your blog.

As for now, you know that if you want to rank high in search engine, you need to have links. So how can you get more links? Here,I’m going to just talk about review exchange. If you are a blogger, you should know how review exchange works. It is just like writing an article, just that you write something about the website of the one whom you want to have reviewed exchange with. You will need to include links pointing to the website in your post. It is easy to write a review, just visit the website and look for information which you can write. The tough things here are where to look for all the people who are willing to do review exchange with you, and how many reviews you are willing to do before you give up.

Here is where you can find a lot of bloggers who are willing to do review exchange with you. Head to BlogCatalog, and search for the term ‘review’ in the ‘Groups’ category. You will find a lot of bloggers who are willing to do review exchange here. Another way is that you can head straight up to the ‘Discussion Board’ of BlogCatalog, and ask for review exchange with the bloggers there. Trust me, there are a lot of people who wanted to review your blog, the main point is, can you keep up with this for the long-term? You should know that SEO is not something like a sprint, it is a marathon, you will need to put in a lot of effort and time in it before your blog get to rank high in search engine.
