Now, it seems that almost all of the bloggers out there are trying to make money from their blogs, and of course this includes me myself. However, to some of you maybe you will think that making money from blogging is something unethical or even may sound evil to you. This is because you are trying to make money from something you do for fun, which will be blogging in your niche.

Let me tell you. Once you have quality contents, nice design, useful links, well organized and updated daily blog, and then what? You may think of making some money with your blogs. You may insert some advertisement like Google Adsense provided, or any affiliate links that you are in. Is this sounds unethical or evil?

For me, not at all. Why? This is because money is just a reward from your work, your hard work of building up a great blog. If you are not making money from your blog and if your blog has got thousands visitors a day, then you’re not leveraging with blogging. We need to use all the tools (especially technology) wisely to leverage from our work. If you bring conveniences to people (like vehicles, home appliances), then money is just the by product of your hard work. Look at Ford Motors, what Henry Ford did was invent an inexpensive car that available for everyone, and the reward? He got rich, very rich. This is just an example, there are many more other examples out there.

Lets say if you insert some advertisement in your blog, and your visitors click on those ads, and find the website very informative. This will be another great thing that you bring to your visitors. And there is nothing wrong if your visitors click on your affiliate links and find the products useful and bought them. In fact, if your visitors follow your links and buy a product like in Amazon, there is no extra charge at all. But what you will get is just a small percentage of incentive from Amazon because you lead to the sales, Amazon thank you by doing this and pay you a small percentage.

There is a big different between purposely creating a blog to just to make money from it and making money from doing something you like. Therefore, for me, making money from your blog is not something unethical at all. Some people even quit their jobs and be a full time bloggers, make a living with bloggings. So this shows that how powerful and potential blogs can be. But, making money is making money, your blog content still the most important, focus on your content. Content will be the reason you make money from, and also the reason you’re not making any money from it.
