What you must know now is that, writing blogs is getting more and more popular nowadays, there are tons of blogs floating in the cyberspace. What is the benefit of blogging? In here, of course, the reason for you to blog is to generate profit! Make money from blogs!

Yes, I’ve seen people blogs and earn few thousands a month, if they can do this, so can you. Some people even make enough money from blogging and quit their job. Sounds funny right, earn money from writing blogs and quit your job, but this is the reality, whether you like it or not, you must accept it. This is a new generation, if you do things with the same old way, you going to be outdated and many people will earn from you. Be the blogger or reader, it is up to you to choose. If you don’t have a plan, you will fall into somebody’s plan. This is the world, the society of today. However, blogging is just a stream of income that can be generated from Internet.

So, let’s start blogging. But before that, you must know what to blog about. How to choose a topic to blog? This is the reason of this post, and here are some simple suggestions of what you can post about.

1. Choose a topic that interest you.
Well, you should know what your interests are right, just ask yourself what you really want and what you really like to do. If you like to rare dogs or fish, then you can blog something about it. Blog something that you’re good at also is a good way of blogging, basically, what you’re good at usually is due to because you like to do it. You can ask yourself this question, ‘will I still be writing on this topic after one year from now?’ If you answer is a No, then I suggest that you’d better find another topic to blog. Do not write about yourself if you want to make extra income from blogging, or else it will becomes a diary. Unless you’re a popular artist, then you can blog about yourself.

2. Choose a niche topic or narrow your focus.
Ok, lets say that you’ve choose to blog about the economy, but you must know that this topic is very hot and there are plenty of people writes about it already. After all, you don’t want to write something that everybody was also writing don’t you. So, what you can do is narrow down your topic to the economy of your country. Well, this still seems a large topic, you can still further narrow your focus, maybe you could do it this way, the traditional economy of your country. Now you’ve narrowed your topic. But then this is just an example, you can do this with your interested topics.

3. Popularity, competition, and future of your topics.
This is the last point you need to consider in choosing a perfect topic that suits you. To know the popularity of your topic, you need to understand the this, the things that are easily available are the things that are cheapest, and vice versa. Means you need to find a topic that still not very popular yet, don’t worry about the traffic, this is the Internet, we’re talking about billions of traffic which soon will increase to trillion. Then the competition, are your topics been chosen by a lot of people already? If so, then the competition of your topic will be higher. When talk about this, the concept of supply and demand is the main point again. If you choose a topic that has got plenty competitors out there, then the content of your blog will be crucial. And lastly, you can do some prediction of your topic, such as whether your topic will be popular in the future or your will shrink in the coming years. Although it is not easy to predict the future, but if you can do this right, then you’re swimming along with the current, the wave will help you swim faster, you’ll be a winner.
