Are You Using The Right Strategies?

I know that you want to make your dreams come true, you want to achieve your goals, you want to create amazing results in your life and you want to be successful, be a millionaire. However, one question though, are you using the right strategies?

You can have all the drive and motivation to keep you going, but if you are using the wrong strategies, you will never ever get the results you always wanted. Why? This is because you are doing the wrong thing. Just like you want to be rich, you want to be financially free, but you are reading games magazine or sports magazine. Another example is this, if you are in internet marketing today, and you are targeting working moms, but you go to sports forum and promote there. Are you going to have great results this way? You bet!

So, first thing first, make sure that you are using the right strategies toward your goals. Here is an example that I grabbed from Adam Khoo‘s book, Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires:

Imagine yourself as the small business owner of a fruit shop that makes $10,000 in profits a month. Let’s say that you decided to set a goal of increasing profits to $15,000 a month.

Would that be possible? Probably. You could work a lot harder, raise prices, increase trading hours, sell on-line or create a loyalty program.

What if you set a goal of making $3 million a month from your fruit business? Would it be achievable? Most people would say, ‘of course not, there is no way you can make that kind of money from a fruit business like that!’

True enough. Making $3 million a month from that fruit business is impossible, if the owner continues to use the same business strategy.

Yet, if he were to completely change the way he now does his small localized fruit business, would it be possible?

For instance, the strategy he could use would start by his studying how to greatly expand his market: he would write a dynamic business plan, raise capital through investments, invest in R & D to develop a superior brand of fruit (for example organic certified food products are seeing phenomenal growth everywhere as people become health conscious) and widen his range of fruit (eg: offer sun dried fruit without sulfur, candied fruit using organic sugar, pureed fruit rolls for kids), support reliable new suppliers, build a franchise system and then license thousands of business owners around the world to sell his fruit.

Would it then be possible for him to earn $3 million a month? Of course it would! With enough flexibility in our strategy, we can achieve just about anything.

You still wonder how a local fruit shop can possibly expand and go global? Impossible?

Can you see it clearly now? I hope you do. All of your energy, effort and time are going to be WASTED if you are using the wrong strategies. However, most people who start their journey to success, usually will use the wrong strategies. This because in the beginning, you are still unclear what lies ahead and you don’t have many references and all you do, is just to move forward.

This is why many successful people face more failures (but they treat them as feedback) more than those ordinary one. You have to understand this…

Success Will Not Come in The First Hit

Yes, you are going to face a lot of feedbacks before you get the results you want. Too often, many people thought that success will come as long as they take action. The fact is that, success will not show up if you are using the wrong strategy. If you are trying to create wealth, to be a millionaire, most probably you will not achieve this in the first day. Not in the first week or first month. And usually not in the first year.

So you see, you have to go through a lot of ups and downs, a lot of feedbacks. And whenever you come across with failures, treat them as feedback, then change your strategy, change the way you do things. This is how successful people achieve their results. They change their approach the moment they receive feedback. Because they know that by using the same strategies over and over again, they will be getting the same old results.

Einstein once defined crazy as, ‘Doing the same thing over and over again, but hope to get different results‘. So don’t be crazy, by using the same old strategies, you will get back the same old results. (How Doing Things Differently Attract Success)

How to Acquire The Right Strategies

You can locate the right strategies by 2 ways. One is learning, and the next one is modeling. Keep on learning and modeling those successful people of your choice, you will find that they are using a completely different set of strategies in doing their work. That is why they are successful, because they are doing things differently.

Commit yourself to read self-improvement or wealth books at least 30 minutes every single day. If you are serious in achieving success in your life, you must to be willing to learn, constantly. The more you learn the more your mind acquire and hence, you will come up with different set of strategies of your own.

No matter what niche market you are in, there must be a small group of people who are in the top 5%. Learn from them. Read the books they write, visit their websites, read their biographies, do things exactly just like them, and you will achieve the results just like them.
