My Top 10 Favorite Success Secrets

November 30th, 2009

What you are about to discover in this post are my top 10 favorite success secrets.

They are what I constantly practice everyday and what I like the most. I believe that these success secrets are going to help you in your journey to success.

If you follow through and adopt these secrets into your life, you will improve the quality of your life.

So here are my top 10 favorite success secrets for you…

1. Be Passionate And Excited In What You Do

Writing article and posting it into my blog is something that I’ll do constantly. What I discover is that the writing process is quite fun when I think about how my article is going to inspire my reader.

The only bad thing is that before I go on to start writing, I’ll think about how boring it is going to be and sometimes I’ll just put it off. I guess this is what most people are facing in their life.

If you want to be successful, you must be passionate and feel the excitement of doing it.

Remember, it is the motivation that will get you going. If you don’t have the motivation and the passion, you’ll never be successful.

And most people have the motivation only during the beginning phase of their work. After some time, they’ll lose their drive and procrastinate. Don’t let this happen to you. If this is what you’re facing right now, think about your core reason again. Why do you want to be successful? What drives you?

2. Write Down Your Goals

Goal setting is one of my favorite success techniques. If I’m allowed to only tell you one strategy that is going to help you to achieve what you want in your life, I will say it is goal setting.

Goal setting will help you to stay focused in what you want in your life. Furthermore, it is going to help you to stay in the right direction of where you are traveling.

I can’t stress enough about the importance of goal setting. If you want to find out more about how to set a goal, refer to my Goal Setting category.

3. Think About What You Want All The Time

Do you know that the main difference between successful people and ordinary people is that successful people think about what they want all the time?

The more you think about what you want, the more you are going to condition it into your subconscious mind. This is what you want because once the idea of achieving your goals has been conditioned into your subconscious, you’ll do things automatically.

In other words, you’ll move toward where you want to be in your life automatically.

You are who you think you are. Everything that you do in your life is affected by your thoughts. If you think about how you can be rich, you’ll eventually come up with ideas how to be rich.

On the other hand, if you think about why you’re poor, you’ll come up with all the reasons you’re poor and this will strengthen your beliefs that you are poor.

So know what you think about and think about what you want all the time.

4. Put In 100% Commitment

If you’re a reader of my blog, you’ll know that I always stress that commitment is one of the most important keys to success.

If you’re not committed, you’ll never produce the results you want in your life. It is only when you’re fully committed to achieve what you want in your life, you’ll do whatever it takes to make it come true.

Successful people are committed toward their dreams and goals. And you have to be the same.

It is your commitment that will help you breakthrough all the difficulties and obstacles in your life. It is your commitment that will help you solve all the problems you meet in your journey and drive you forward.

The person who taught me about the importance of commitment is Adam Khoo. He is a very successful guru in Singapore and the success strategies that he taught in his book, Master Your Mind, Design Your Destiny is outstanding.

If his teachings are able to change my life and improve the quality of my life, I bet it is going to do the same for you.

5. The Power Of Taking Action

Hey, if you’re not doing anything about your goals, you’re not going to achieve them!

You have to take action to produce the results you want in your life. This is what most people never do and this is what makes them fail to achieve what they want in their life.

If you are not doing anything, how are you going to achieve what you want in your life? Don’t expect money to fall from the sky into your pocket.

You have to do something to make your dreams come true. This is a common sense and a fact that you cannot change. What you’re going to learn here is not going to change your life, but applying them will.

Therefore, learn and apply what you have learned here into your life, and you’ll never be the same person again.

6. Constant Learning And Improving

I’ll spend at least 30 minutes to 1 hour into reading self-improvement books every single day. I’ve a lot of books in the field of personal development and Internet marketing. These are the two fields that I like most and hence I’m willing to read and learn all the time.

And because I’m committed to reading books everyday, I’m feeling motivated all the time and I’m clear about what I want to accomplish in my life.

Do you think that learning and improving are going to help you to achieve what you want in your life? The answer is obvious.

If you’re looking for a good book in personal development, my recommendation is to read Adam Khoo’s Master Your Mind, Design Your Destiny.

Do you know that Adam charges around $2,000 for people who attend his workshop? And do you know that he has compiled all his knowledge and success secrets into this book? You’re going to get all his success strategies for less than $20!

So this is what you have to do to be who you want to be in your life. Constant learning is the key to slowly improving the quality of your life.

7. Spend Some Time To Relax

After taking some action, you can reward yourself by taking some rest. Study has shown that if you want to be more productive, you must keep a refreshed mind. And thus, you must rest and relax to lighten up yourself.

Sometimes you’ll get stressed and pressured by the situation. Sometimes it seems like you’ll fail to get the results you want no matter how hard you try. When you face this kind of situation, take some time to rest and relax. Free your mind and you’ll come up with better strategy to get things done.

If you keep on doing without rest, you’re going to have breakdown in the end. So live a balanced life with both work and play.

8. Contribute And Help Others

One of the greatest feeling of success is the feeling of self-esteem. Do you know that you can boost your level of self-esteem and confident by helping others?

You don’t really need to go out and help those people in the street. However, it is always a great choice if you can do so.

What you can do is to help people such as your family members. For instance, you can help clean the rubbish, wash dishes, cook, wash the cars and so on and so forth.

The key is to contribute to people around you. You want to train your mind to cultivate the spirit of togetherness and contribution. You want to feel that you’re part of this world and you’re doing something that can help to make other people’s lives better.

Do this and you’ll feel satisfy all the time. If you want others to treat you good, treat them good first. If you want others to treat you great, you’ll have to be great with them.

9. Adopt The Habit Of Gratification

You need to adopt the habit of gratification all the time. Be thankful of whom you are. Be thankful because you’re able to read this post right now. Always be thankful and feel satisfy with what you have.

Do you know that if you can get online and read this article, you’re richer than a lot of people in this world? Some people don’t have the chance to use a computer. Some people don’t even know how to use a computer. And some people don’t know how to read.

So if you’re reading this right now, feel thankful.

If you think that you’re unlucky or God treat you not as good as others, think again. You’re not the one with the biggest problems or setback in this world. There are many people who are worse than you.

Hence, be thankful and adopt the habit of gratification all the time.

10. Read My Blog All The Time

Yes! Read my blog all the time is one of my favorite success secrets. I love to share what I’ve learned in the field of personal development in my blog. I like the feeling of inspiring others and I like to hear from those who has been motivated by me.

Every time when I receive email from my readers telling me how much I’ve helped them and inspired them through my blog, I’m feeling excited and this gets me going.

So I hope that this is another inspiring post that will get you going. I’d like to hear from you. Leave your comments here and tell me what you think about my blog.

How To Live From Good To Great

November 28th, 2009

From all the books I’ve read in the past, what I’ve learned is that if you want to live your life from good to great, you must commit to one thing – constant and never ending improvement!

Anthony Robbins, one of my favorite success gurus, called it CANI – Constant And Never Ending-Improvement.

Yes, if you want to produce amazing results in your life, you must learn constantly. If you want to be the top in your industry or the field you’re in, you must strive to improve all the time.

This is how Japan become one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world. The Japanese constantly improve the quality of their cars because they commit to CANI, or in Japanese, they called it Kaizen.

And this is exactly what you need if you want to turn your life from good to great.

Take reading for example, if you commit to read a book in a month, you’ll have read 12 books in a year. And do you think this 12 books are going to change the way you look at life and help you to improve your life in a year?

Obviously, the answer is a BIG YES!

If a book will change your life by just a little bit, by the end of a year, you’ll totally become a new person who lives a great life. What if you read two books in a month? Will you speed up the process? You bet!

Anthony Robbins read more than 700 books in the field of personal development, which is what makes the top person in this related area and he makes millions of dollars in this industry.

Leaders are readers. Constantly improving yourself little by little, you’re going to create big changes after a long time. The key is consistency. You’ve to consistently take small action each and everyday to improve the quality of your life. Even if it is just a small action such as a phone call, writing down your goal, affirm your goal, visualize your success or spend 30 minutes into reading.

What you do everyday is going to determine what you’re going to get in the future.

Hey, the best time to plan for the next 10 years is now, not 10 years from now. Understand this statement and reread it if you don’t understand it.

Many people never do anything about their future. Let me tell you this, 10 years from now will surely arrive, the only question then will be, where will you be?

Will you still be in the same place doing the same thing and thinking the same thought? How are you going to use that 10 years? What do you want to accomplish in these years?

Find out the answer right now, write them all down and start to create plans and take massive action to achieve them.

It is now that is going to determine your future. What you do now is going to affect you’re going to get in the future. And if you’re not doing anything, you’ll stay the same when the time come.

Do you know that the first best time to plant a tree is when you were born into this world? And do you know when is the second best time to plant it? The second best time is now!

So commit yourself to constant and never ending improvement from now on. If you have missed the chance of making it as a habit in the past, now will be the perfect time for you. And don’t wait for another 10 years to do this. You don’t have much time left to waste.

This is how successful people are able to turn their life around. In the beginning, they may seem like doing something that is wasting their time and yield no results. However, after a long time, their effort will start to pay off. This is the real power of consistency.

And this is the power that you must learn and acquire right now. It will change your life forever.

What Prevents Most People From Being Successful In Life

November 23rd, 2009

Do you want to know why you’re not successful? There are basically 4 reasons that prevent most people from being successful in their life.

If you can get past these 4 reasons, success will be yours. So here are the 4 reasons…

1. Limiting Beliefs

Do you know that everything you do in your life is govern by your beliefs? It is your belief that will help you to shape your life.

For example, do you think that selling shoes in Africa is a great business? Some people may think yes because it is a huge untapped market. While some people may think no because no people are going to buy it.

Whatever the decision, you have to understand that it is your belief system that helps to decide on which decision and action to take.

Therefore, if you’re adopting limiting beliefs such as you think that you’re not smart enough to be successful, you’ll never tap into your full potential to achieve what you want in your life.

On the other hand, if you strongly believe that anything is possible for you and all you need to do is to keep trying until you produce the results you want, you’ll most likely achieve what you want in your life.

As you can see it now, it is all about your belief system. So learn to adopt empowering beliefs and get rid of your limiting beliefs right now.

You can learn more by reading this post right now, The First Step To Changing Your Belief System.

2. They Don’t Know What They Want

This is just another common reason people fail to be successful in their life. You’re not going to believe this, but it is real. Most people fail to achieve great success in their life simply because they don’t know what they want.

If you don’t know what you want, how are you going to achieve it? If you don’t have a target, how do you know when you’ve reached there?

Most people will never bother to think about what they want in their life. Maybe they’ll flash through some images in their life such as their dream car and the lifestyle they want, but that’s it. They’ll just flash through the thoughts and they never put in any real effort to make their dreams come true.

So know exactly what you want in your life. Spend time, as much as you want, to think about your future. It is your future, thus, do it seriously. Maybe you can take a day to lock yourself in your room and write down everything you want in your life.

You must be able to imagine, or know your outcome before you can achieve the result you want. This is the process of designing your life.

3. The Fear Of Failure

Fear of failure is probably one of the most killing factors that prevent most people from achieving what they want in their life.

If you’re working right now, you hate your job and you have a dream of starting your own business, 99 percent of the time you’ll never quit your job and start your business. Why?

Simply because you’re afraid to fail. You fear what if you quit your job but fail in your business.

This is exactly what is happening to most people. Many people want to be successful, but they’re too afraid of the failure they’re going to face if they pursue their dreams.

You have to first understand that failure is something that is unavoidable. No matter what you do in your life, you’re going to get failure. Life is not perfect, and it is the failure that will make your life better.

Once you understood that failure is unavoidable, the next thing you need to do is to change your view about failure. You have to treat failure as feedback. A feedback is a signal that is telling you something is not right and you need to change it in order to make it right.

If you’re not getting the results you want, just change your approach and try again. This is the real key that will lead you to the success you want.

Understand this, no one was born perfect in this world. I love this quote from Anthony Robbins, “Success is a result of good judgment. Good judgment is a result of experience. And experience is the result of bad judgment.”

4. Addiction To Soft Life

This is another common problem that prevent most people from getting what they want in their life.

Setting goals and really going for our goals often means changing habits, sacrificing time spent hanging out with friends. This is why people make half-hearted attempts. As soon as their new path impinges on their old habits, they withdraw… It’s too hard.

If you’re living in your comfort zone, you’ll never be successful in your life. To be successful, you have to get out of your comfort zone and expand this zone until you achieve your goals and live the dreams you desire.

There you go. These are the 4 reasons that prevent most people from being successful in your life. If you’re serious about achieving the amazing results you want in your life, follow through the advice that you’ve learned here.

Cultivate The 7 Habits Of A Winner

November 16th, 2009

If you want to be a winner in your life, you have to start by cultivating the winner’s habits.

What is different between a loser and a winner is the habit each of them possess. A winner practice a certain set of habits that make them successful and win in life.

On the contrary, a loser or an ordinary person practice another set of habits that lead them nowhere.

And if you want to be a winner in your life, practice these 7 habits below…

1. Never Give Up

I don’t know, but I guess a winner will never quit, :-p

If you want to win in anything you do, you definitely cannot quit. If you quit, you’ll lose. Its a common sense. Everyone knows this, but most people cannot stand it and still quit in the end.

No matter what you do in your life, never give up and never quit. Once you quit, you’re going to lose all the effort and the precious time that you have put in previously.

A winner will never quit and a quitter will never win. As simple as this.

2. Act According To Strategies

A winner will never act blindly. They will create strategies and plans before they take any action. This is a habit that most people don’t have.

Everyone has 24 hours in this world. Some people work 4 hours a day and earn $100,000. On the other hand, most people work 8 hours a day but barely make $1,000 in a month!

The main difference is in the strategies that they’re using. Some people work with their hands (labor work). While some people work using their mind. It is a different in strategy.

As you can see it clearly now, it is all about strategies. If you follow through the right strategy and take the right action, you’ll reach your goals sooner. However, if you use the wrong strategy, you’re going to use more time to reach your goals. And you may want to change your strategy to get the results you desire.

3. Proactive And Go-Getter

You guess it right, a winner is also a go-getter. If there’s an opportunity in front of you but you’re not doing anything, you’ll never seize the opportunity and you’ll never produce the results you want.

It is only by being proactive and adopt the habit of a go-getter you will win in your life.

The problem with most people is that they’re not a go-getter and they’re not proactive in their life. Most people will wait for things to happen instead of becoming the first one to take action to make things happen.

If you meet someone who wants to start their own business but has yet to start, ask them why is that. You’ll get all kinds of excuses such as they don’t have the capital, they don’t know how or they don’t have the time.

These excuses will show that they’re not a proactive person. Someone proactive will go around to look for capital if he does not have enough money to start a business. A proactive person will take action to get rid of the obstacles they face instead of being held by the obstacles.

4. Willingness To Learn

Every winner is willing to learn because they know that if they want to win, they’ll have to learn. If you’re not learning, how can you grow and improve? And if you’re not growing and improving, how are you going to win in your life?

If you can commit to read a book each month, you’re going to digest 12 books in a year. And if each of the book you read is going to give you an idea to improve your life by a mere 1%, do you know how much you’re going to improve by the end of a year?

The answer is not 12%. We’re talking about the compounding effect here. The 1% you created is going to stack up and accumulate compound into amazing growth in your life.

Can you see how powerful learning can be right now?

Can you imagine what is going to happen to you in the next 3 or 5 years in your life if you commit to this habit? You’re going to be a winner in your industry!

5. The Commitment To Go On

A winner is a person that makes 100% commitment to their life. They know that if they’re not committed, they’re going to get lousy results. If you’re not committed, it is better not to start. This is because when you’re not playing it full out, you definitely are not going to get the results you want.

It is only by putting 100% commitment into doing it, you’ll produce the spectacular results you desire.

For me, commitment is one of the most important habits that you’ll need to be successful in your life. Always remember this, if you want to be a winner and live the life you want, you must be committed and be willing to play it full out.

6. Passion And Energetic

Yes, you have to be passionate in order to produce great results in your life.

Can you imagine when you’re talking to someone who’s passionate about their work? When you’re talking to someone who is passionate with their work, you can feel the energy radiates from them.

They way passionate people talk, walk, move, breathe, think and almost everything they do, are going to influence you. You can feel it when you’re talking to them.

This is the kind of habit you want to adopt. You must learn to be passionate in what you do to be a winner in your life.

When you’re passionate in your work, you’ll automatically come up with the energy and motivation to do the work. This is the kind of energy you want if you want to be a winner.

7. Learn From Feedback

This is one of the most important factors that will make you a winner in your life. You have to understand that not every action that you take is going to give you the result you want. Therefore, you must be willing to learn from the feedback you’re getting.

If you’re not learning from the results you get, it is impossible for you to improve.

Every successful person learns from their feedback. They know that when they’re not getting the results they want, they’re not failing. They fail only when they give up.

Instead, successful people treat ‘failure’ as feedback. They know it very well that if they want to get the results they want, they must keep on adjusting their direction to reach their destination.

It is just like an aeroplane. Do you know that an aeroplane is running out of course almost all the time? It is the computer system that sets it to keep on adjusting its direction to reach its destination.

No one is perfect in this world. Even the most successful person in this world is not perfect. Once you adopt and understand this habit, you’ll eventually keep changing your course to reach your destination.

By adopting these 7 habits, you’ll definitely live and become a winner in your life.

3 Simple Secrets How To Direct Your Focus

November 13th, 2009

If you want to create spectacular results and be more productive in your life, you’ll have to learn how to direct your focus.

Remember, it is what you think in your mind that will determine your life.

If you’re someone pessimistic and keep thinking about bad things, you definitely won’t be living a good life.

However, if you’re someone positive and always think about the brighter side, do you think you’ll live a happy life?

Of course you will! It’s a common sense. You’re who you think you are!

Well, if you want to learn how to direct your thoughts, I have 3 secrets for you. These are not secrets actually, they’re common in your life, but because most people never realize its power and never truly utilize them, they become under-utilize strategies to direct your focus.

Secret #1 – Ask the right question

The first secret to directing your thoughts is the question you use to ask yourself. If you ask the right question, you will get the right answer that will lead you to where you want to be.

Think about it, you’re always talking to yourself. And in fact, you’re asking yourself questions all the time. So instead of asking lousy questions unconsciously, learn to tackle your subconscious and always ask positive questions that will bring you toward your goals.

No matter what you think about in your head, you’re either asking question or evaluating something. If you’re thinking, “I’m so handsome”, you’re evaluating your appearance.

When you fail to close a sale, you can ask disempowering questions such as “how come I’m so stupid?” or “see, told ya, I’m going to lose the sale” or “how come I just can’t close sales?”

If you ask these kind of questions, your brain will search for answers and you’ll end up feeling lousy and disempowering.

On the other hand, if you ask empowering questions such as “what can I learn from this?” or “what should I do to improve my results?” Your brain will search for the answers and empowers you.

It is all about the questions or the evaluation you make in your mind that will determine your feeling, your action and ultimately, your destiny.

Secret #2 – Use the right word

Once you knew what questions you need to ask yourself to help you stay focused in your direction, you must use the right words.

Everyone has a different meaning for the words they have in their mind. Let me give you an example…

What do you think about the word “success”? For some people, it is a word that represents wealth and freedom. While for others, it is a word that represents intimate relationship, power and pride.

It depends on what you associate the meaning of the words that you’re going to use in your life. If you want to direct your focus, you must use the correct words that will empower you to stay positive all the time.

Remember, your voice, your tonality, your physiology and your words are all interlink together.

So use your words wisely. Use words that will lower the intensity of putting you into a lousy state. For instance, you can use the word uncomfortable instead of saying you’re afraid. Or you can substitute the word failure with learning.

Secret #3 – Be conscious

Sometimes, you’ll never know whether you’re controlling your thoughts. This is because your subconscious is in function.

For example, the first time you watch a ghost movie, you may scare to death at certain scene. This is because you don’t know it is happening and your mind does not prepare for it.

However, if you watch it the second time, you’ll never get shocked again. Why? It is because your mind has prepared for it.

Now, the key is this, if you want to learn how to direct your focus, you must first be aware of what you’re focusing on.

Sometimes when you’re reading something, you’ll slowly divert your thinking until you focus on other thoughts. During that moment, you’ll never know what you’re reading. Your mind is focusing on other thoughts but you’re still reading.

After you notice you’re not focusing on what you’re reading, you’ll tell your mind to come back to read what you’re reading. Does this happen to you before?

Therefore, if you want to direct your focus of your thoughts, you must first be conscious and know what you’re focusing. If you don’t you can never change it. You cannot repair something that you don’t know is broken.

So I hope these 3 secrets are going to help you to have a better focus in your thoughts.

5 Keys Habits That Every Successful Person Possesses

November 10th, 2009

If you want to be successful, you must adopt the success habit that every successful person possesses.

Most people will get motivated in pursuing their dreams in the beginning. However, after some time, they will lose the motivation and soon forget about their dreams.

This is simply because they did not condition their action to become a habit.

Once you have conditioned your action to become a habit, you’ll do it automatically. And the simplest way to condition an action to become a habit is by doing it continuously for at least 21 days.

For example, if you want to practice the habit of brushing your teeth before you sleep, simply do it continuously for the next 21 days and it will be conditioned into your mind as a habit.

Now you know the power of conditioning and how you can form a new habit. Below are the 5 key habits that every successful person possesses.

What you have to do is to adopt and condition these habits to become your own…

1. The Habit Of Constant Learning

Successful people are willing to learn. They read a lot of books and they know that if they want to improve their skill or their knowledge in their field, they have to adopt the habit of constant and never end improvement.

It is the same for you. If you want to be the best in your industry, you must adopt this habit. Spend at least 30 minutes everyday into learning something that is related to your field. You can read related books and articles to improve yourself.

After a year, you’ll discover the great change that this habit will bring you.

2. The Habit Of Taking Action

Learning is only a potential power. What gives you the real power and real change is the ability to act. Therefore, you must do something each day. And you definitely want to turn this into a habit so that you’ll take action everyday automatically.

Success is all about taking action. If you’re not doing anything about your goals and your dreams, you’ll never going to achieve them.

Thus, practice the habit of taking action that will lead you to where you want to end up everyday. Don’t just take action for the first few days, be committed and take consistent action every single day and you’ll produce amazing results in your life.

3. The Habit Of Putting 100% Commitment

Successful people are committed people who will do exactly as promised. If they promised themselves that they are going to read the financial report of a company by the end of tonight, they’ll do it no matter how late it gets!

The habit of putting in 100% commitment is a very powerful habit that you must adopt. Once you have conditioned yourself to be committed, you’ll do whatever it takes to achieve what you want in your life.

If you procrastinate and put things off, you’re not committed enough. Successful people will never put things away and procrastinate. Once they’ve committed to their decision, they’ll do whatever it takes until they achieve the results they desire. This is how you can achieve your goals and manifest your dreams.

4. The Habit Of Passion

Can you feel the passion and energy radiates from successful people when you talk to them?

Every successful person is passionate in what they do and they do it with their full energy. They know that if they do it with passion and energy, they can get the things done more perfectly.

You can sense it in their talk, their walk, the way they communicate, the way they look at you and more. This is the kind of energy you want in your life as well.

If you can do things with passion and do it with your full energy, you’ll be able to tap into your full potential and attain amazing results in your life. So learn to live with passion from now on.

5. The Habit Of Never Give Up

This is an old school, but a good one. No matter what you do in your life, you must not give up. The moment you give up on something, you’ll waste all your energy, your effort and your time that you have previously put in.

You’ll never going to achieve your goals and live your dreams if you give up. Successful people never give up. They’re stubborn people who pursue what they want in their life with all they have.

Do you know how much rejection Colonel Sanders got before he finally founded KFC?

The number is big, 1009. He received 1009 rejections before he finally got a yes! Can you imagine his commitment? Can you see his spirit of never give up? Learn from him! Never give up!

Well I hope this post is going to motivate you. The most important point is that you’ll be clear about what it takes to be to successful and I hope that you’ll take the first step to adopt these 5 habits into your life.

Developing Your Personal Power

November 9th, 2009

The number one reason people fail to produce the results they want in their life is simply because they are not committed to achieve them. They are not committed to be the person they always wanted to be.

And the reason they’re not putting 100% commitment to achieve what they want is simple, it is either they’re not aware that they can be successful, or they’re doing anything about it even if they knew what they want in their life.

Which category do you fit in?

If you’re reading this, most probably you’ll be in the later category. You know what you want to accomplish in your life, but you’re not doing anything about it. Am I right?

It is all about personal power. After all, 2 people can go through the same personal development program, but not both of them are going to produce amazing results from the program in their life. It is what they do that will set them apart from the ordinary.

You can read a thousand books, but if you’re not applying the technique and the knowledge from the books, you’re the same as a person that does not read the books at all.

You have to understand that change has to start from you. You’re the only person that can change your life. You’re the only one who is responsible for it. If you’re not taking the responsibility and take charge of your life, you’ll still be the same.

Most people fail to understand this fact. It is you who can change your life. You can stop reading this right now and go to sleep. Or you can continue to read on and do nothing about your life. Or you can keep on reading and make the decision right now that you will put in commitment to change your life.

It is all your choice. You have the power to make things happen. You’re the one who is responsible for your own life.

Once you understood this fact, you’ll be able to take charge of your life. You’ll start to make the right decision that will bring you toward living your dreams and fulfilling your destiny.

The key is to be able to see the big picture of how success work.

Visualization, goal setting, affirmation, law of attraction, etc, all are not going to work unless you work on them. You, and no one else. You’re the only one that can change your life. Nobody can save you if you’re not willing to be saved. It is a two directions process.

You cannot clap with only one hand. North will never exist without South. For every head, there must be a tail. Just like Yin and Yang. You must be willing to learn when somebody is teaching you, only then you’ll be able to absorb all the knowledge and information transfer to you.

If I’m willing to teach you but you’re not willing to learn, you’ll never acquire the knowledge and information that I’m trying to pass on to you.

You have to learn to develop your personal power if you want to be successful. Understand that you’re the one that is responsible for change, believe that you can change, decide to change and make that change.

You have the power and you must use it to attain your goals and achieve your dreams.

How To Motivate Yourself

November 8th, 2009

What drives you? What gives you the energy to keep moving on?

Do you know why sometimes you’re motivated to do something while sometimes you just want to put things off?

What you have to do is to notice your states, the thought you run through your mind, your breathing pattern and your physiology when you’re in a motivated state.

Once you noticed all these factors, you will come to better understand what drives you. And if you know what drives you, you can then repeat the same process and keep yourself motivated all the time whenever you want to.

Conversely, you can take note about the factors when you’re in a lousy state. What thoughts you’re running through your head when you’re feeling unmotivated? For most people, when they’re in a lousy state and when they’re trying to put things off, they will focus on the pleasure of not doing the things and the pain of doing it.

Let me give you an example, when you’re feeling motivated, most probably you’ll be thinking about being successful in your life. You’ll think about driving the car you have always dreamed about. You’ll be thinking about having all the money that you desire and traveling around the world with your loved ones.

Your breathing will be deep and your physiology is in a certain position. This means that you are focusing on the pleasure of achieving your dreams. You’re thinking about what you want to accomplish in your life.

Therefore, if you know that you have to focus in these thoughts to be in a motivated state, do you think that you can control your thought and make yourself motivated when needed?

Of course you can! You just have to think the exact picture in your head, breathe the same way you’re breathing when you’re feeling excited and make sure your eyes, your facial expression and your physiology is in the exact position like when you’re feeling motivated. Then you will feel motivated.

It is something like copy and paste. You do exactly the same thing, and you will get the same results.

One plus one will always be two. So if you do the same thing just like when you’re feeling exciting and passionate, you will get back the same results.

In other words, you can choose to feel and be in the states that you want. Anthony Robbins says, emotion is created by motion. And I think it is very true.

When you’re feeling bored and sleepy, try to move faster and you will feel energetic. It is your motion that created your emotion.

I believe you’ve learned something useful today. You don’t have to use coffee or candy to stay awake. Instead, you can use your motion to produce the kind of energy you want.

Make good use of what you’ve learned here today. Try it and you will get the results you want.
