The Fact You Need To Know About Changing Your Life

If you want to be successful, you must change your life.

Changing your life is not something easy to do, but it is doable. You have to understand that sometimes changing the way you live may cause a lot of stress and tension. This is why most people fail to change.

Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

Staying in your comfort zone will not change your life. Ask yourself this question right now, “Am I feeling comfortable with my life?”

If your answer is a yes, you’re staying in your comfort zone. And if you’re staying in your comfort zone, you will never be successful. Unless you’re already successful, you must not live in comfortable.

Try this exercise right now:

Lift your right leg and spin it in the clockwise direction. After that lift up your right hand, and try to write the number ‘six’ in the air. Can you do this?

You cannot. The moment you try to write the number ‘six’ with your hand, your leg will turn the other way round.

I’ll explain the reasons for doing this exercise later. Now, let’s try doing another exercise.

Try to cross your arm just like you always did when you are standing and have nothing to do. Are you doing it with ease? Great.

Next, try to cross your arm the other way round. What do you feel? Do you feel it is hard to do?

So what can you learn from this?

Change Is Difficult, But It Can Be Done

You will feel that when you’re trying to write the number ‘six’ with your right hand, your right leg will not follow your instruction anymore. This is because your mind has conditioned your leg and your hand to act together. If you try it for some time, you will be able to do the exercise perfectly.

It is just like when you are trying to cross your hand the other way, which is the other way that you usually do, you will feel odd. Again, you have conditioned your mind to do it the usual way. So when you’re trying to cross it the other way, you will feel odd.

Therefore, change is not an easy task. It is difficult to change at first and you must learn to venture out of your comfort zone.

Change might be difficult, but it can be done. You did cross your hand the other way didn’t you? Of course you did, it can be done.

If you’re pursuing success in life, it will be the same theory.

Some people find it hard to even spend 10 minutes into reading any self-improvement book. Believe me, if you’re one of them, it is just because it is the starting point. That is why you will find it difficult. I can tell you frankly that I will find it hard for me not to read any book in a day.

That is because I’ve conditioned my mind and body into a situation where reading everyday is a must in my life. You can do the same.

How To Change Your Life

Now, you understand that change is not easy, but it is doable. However, how can you change your life for the better?

I don’t know what dreams or goals you have in your life, but if you want to change your life to reach your destiny, here are some of my suggestions…

1. You’ll have to do it slowly and start small in the beginning. For example, if you want to adopt the habit of reading daily, you can start small and slow. Read for 10 or 15 minutes everyday, and then slowly increase the time you put into doing it.

2. The next very important key in changing your life and your habit, is consistency. You cannot change your life if you are not consistent with it. Let me ask you this, how do you bath? The way you bath is exactly the same everyday. You’ll find it difficult when you try to change it. This is simply because you have bathed the same way for years!

How do you set or comb your hair? If you do it the same way everyday in front of the mirror, can you do it without the mirror one day? You bet! However, after you have cut your hair, you will find it a little hard to do. That is because your mind has not yet condition how you are going to do it.

3. Do it for at least 30 days. When you try to change, you need to have the consistency and discipline. If you can do it for at least 30 days, you will be able to form a new habit, and change your life slowly.

Just imagine if you can adopt a new positive habit into your life once every two months. Can you see what will happen to you in the next 3 years? You are going to adopt 18 new positive habits! Do yo think this is good enough to change your life? You bet, it definitely will!

This is the first technique that you definitely don’t want to leave out. Goal setting is considered one of the most powerful success techniques that will help to achieve what you want in your life.

I personally practice this technique and found it to be very useful. It reminds me of what I’m going to achieve in my life and what should I do when the time comes. Let me give you an example, whenever I saw my goals, I will feel determined to take the necessary action to make my goals come true.

This is what goal setting can do for you. It will remind you of your mission and what you need to do in your life. If you think that life is boring, it is most probably you haven’t found your true purpose in life. A dream will give you a rough idea of what you want in your life, but a goal will give you specific detail of what you need to do to make your dreams come true.

2. Visualization

This is an old school. Visualization is also a powerful technique that will help you to achieve what you want in your life.

I seldom do this, but sometimes when I’m free, the images will just flow through my mind and they motivates me. Yes, seeing yourself being successful in your mind is something inspiring. Visualization can motivates you. However, you must make sure you visualize only positive image.

Most people fail in their life and they tend to attract negative events into their life simply because they are not optimistic enough. Most people will think negatively.

When you’re driving, what will you do if you come across an accident by the road side? Will you slow down and have a look? On the other hand, if there is a beautiful tree grow by the road side, will you slow down and take note about it? Most people will get attracted to an accident, but not to a beautiful tree.

3. Affirmation

Again, this is also another common technique that you can use to shortcut your journey to success. Words are great resources available to everyone in this world. No matter what language you use, you know which word to use when you it comes to your mind.

It is just like visualization, you should use positive words instead of the negative. Not everyone will have the same meaning for each word. Some people will link massive amount of pain to the word failure, and that is how they give so much pressure on themselves that they cannot fail.

Donald Trump, he links failure as being number two in everything, especially in real estate, and that is how he manages to produce amazing result in his life because he doesn’t allow himself to be number two.

You can create affirmation and repeat it whenever you are free.

4. Public commitment

Do you know why most people fail to achieve their goals and live their dreams? It is simply because they are not committed to their goals and dreams!

So this is what you can do if you find procrastination is your number one enemy. Tell everyone you know about your dreams, your goals, and what you are going to do to achieve them. Even better, update them with every action and results you have taken and received.

If you do this, I can personally guarantee that success will be yours.

Most people are afraid to share their dreams and goals with others. When you do this, you are leaving yourself with no other way but to achieve what you’ve just committed. This is because your credibility is at stakes, you don’t want others to laugh at you and so you will do whatever it takes to achieve them.

Some people will say you’re crazy or even laugh at you when you tell them what you are going to accomplish in your life. Just ignore them. Turn their tease into energy and forces that will support you in your journey.

That is why after you have written down your goals, you need to stick the paper somewhere you can see. It gives you the sense that you must achieve them or else you’re a wimp.

5. Reward and punish system

This technique works pretty simple. You reward yourself whenever you did something and move closer toward your goals and you punish yourself if you procrastinate.

This technique will help to train your discipline and raise your level of commitment. It is just like when you’re training your dog, you praise and give it food when it performs as you wish. This is how people train animals such as dolphins and lions. You can apply this technique into your life as well.

Whenever you have achieved a small goal or have taken a small action, reward yourself by watching a movie, relax and so on. Or if you procrastinate, punish yourself to stay up late just to get the stuff done.

6. Regular exercise and enjoyment

If you work 18 hours a day, you will go crazy one day. You need to be balanced in your life to be productive. Study has shown that working longer hour does not mean more productive. Some people work 4 or 5 hours, but the work done is equivalent to those who have worked for 18 hours.

It is all about balanced and being productive. You need to understand that God does not design everyday to be Monday or Tuesday. God has designed 7 days in a week and there is one day for you to rest, Sunday.

Sometimes when you face your computer screen for a long time, you will feel tired and unable to be as productive as you would. However, after a small talk with your colleague or after went to the toilet, you will feel that your concentration power increased a little.

You know what this means and what should you do in your life. Success is not about working 18 hours a day, it is about being balanced in every area of your life.

7. Read, learn and improve

This is one very important technique that will give you long-term success. No matter who you are, as long as you’re willing to learn and improve, you’ll have the chance to be successful.

If you don’t know about investing, read books about it. If you don’t know about real estate, attend seminars and workshop to learn about it. You can basically learn everything from books, people’s experience and all kinds of resources.

If one book will be able to give you a constructive idea how to improve your life, you will gain 12 ideas in a year if you read a book per month. Learning and improving are what you need to be the best in your industry.

I have just finished a book called The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. And this is exactly what I am going to share with you today. To tell you frankly, I’m really inspired by the information in that book.

Although it is just a small book, but its content truly opened my mind. I will strongly recommend everyone who wants to live a successful and balanced life to grab this book.

What I’m going to share with you here today are the rough ideas of what the book is all about. I believe that the information is great and empowering. If after you finish this post and find it boring, it is my plain English and my normal writing style that makes it so.

That is why I strongly recommend you to grab The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. It is worth much more than its price tag. There are so many self-help books I have read and I dare say this is one of the best.

I believe that you will think this is a common success tip for you. However, don’t underestimate this. Robin Sharma made it a masterpiece in explaining this and I felt totally inspired when reading this chapter myself. You know, I’ve been in self-development field for some time now, thus, if this book can inspire me, I bet it will do the same for you.

In this book, the author represent the mind as a garden. Therefore, you have to make sure your garden is clean and take care of it all the time. If you ever throw any toxic waste into your garden, all the beautiful flower and green grass will be gone. It is exactly the same for your mind.

The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your mind. What you think in your mind, you will create in your life.

Although that you cannot control what is happening to you such as a heavy traffic, flood or earthquake, but you definitely can control your mind and your thoughts. This is a gift from God that separate you from animal.

So by controlling the thoughts you have in your mind, you will be able to control your response and how you act according to your surrounding. As a result, you will be able to master your own destiny.

Most people are blur with what they want in their life, and as a result, they become the lost sheep and they will just follow the crowd to wherever the crowd goes.

Do not let this happen to you!

Do you know how can you attain lasting happiness? It is by constantly pursuing your goals and advancing towards the purpose and direction of your life.

The key point here is to find out your true talent, passion and your real purpose in life. Some people discover that they are great speaker and so they become a teacher or a lecturer. Some people have the talent in singing and so they end up becoming a great artist. What about you?

The main key is to have the discipline and vision to see your heroic mission and to serve others when you realize it.

Kaizen is a Japanese word. It simply means the habit of constant and never ending improvement. If you have read Anthony Robbin’s book, you will know what he means by this.

Success comes from the inside before you can manifest it into the outside. If you want to improve your outer world, be it your health, relationship or finances, you must first improve your inner world.

Understand and always keep this in your mind, “the only limits on your life are those that you set yourself”. You can achieve anything you want in your life. As long as you practice the principle of Kaizen, you start to liberate your true human potential.

So practice this principle from now on. Live the life you always wanted. Be the one who you always want to be. Work hard to improve your body and your mind. Get out of your comfort zone and do the things you fear. And start to live life with passion and limitless energy from within you.

10 Tips How To Make Your Goals Come True

Having difficulty in making your goals come true? Here are 10 tips that can help you…

1. Be specific with your goals, set a deadline for each of them and write them down on a piece of paper.

I believe that this is a very common tip that I don’t have to explain any further.

2. Paste the piece of paper where you have your goals written down on the wall somewhere you can see often.

You can also put it on the table of your desk. The key in doing this is to remind yourself of your goals all the time. Trust me, it works. If you don’t believe it, just try it. Just put the paper somewhere you can see often, and whenever you see it, you will know what to do to make it come true.

3. Create positive motivation to inspire you to take action.

Most people fail to take action to make their goals come true simply because they are not motivated enough to take action. What you can do here is to create some positive motivation to keep you going. For example, if your family is your biggest motivation, you can also include a picture of your family in your goals’ paper.

Find out what motivates you and use it to help you to take the necessary action. If your goal is to stop smoking and your daughter is your biggest motivation, think of her whenever you want to smoke.

4. Make use of the punish and reward system.

Punish yourself whenever you fail to take action and reward yourself if you successfully did what you supposed to do. For example, you can reward yourself by taking a nap or watching a movie if you follow through and take action to make your goals come true.

On the other hand, you can punish yourself with late sleep or no entertainment if you fail to follow through. This way, you will train your mind and body to work according to what you focus on.

5. Spend 15 minutes everyday to visualize the achievement of your goals.

This is another common tip that you can apply to realize your goals. By seeing it in your mind, you will tend to be more motivated and you will send messages to the universe and telling the universe what you want. Successful people do this all the time. They can see it clearly in their mind what they want before they finally achieve it.

6. Take at least 1 or 3 action steps that will lead you to your goals everyday.

Nothing is going to happen to you if you are not taking any action. Even if you spend time visualize or look at your goals’ paper everyday, if you are not doing anything, nothing will ever happen. So take at least 1 or 3 action steps that will bring you toward your goals everyday.

7. Make a public commitment about your goals.

Are you serious about achieving your goals? If you do, make a public commitment about it. Tell everyone about what you want to accomplish in your life. Tell your wife about your goals, tell your parents about your goals, tell your friends and colleagues about your goals and when you are going to achieve them.

If you do this, you will leave yourself with no other option but to make your goals come true. This is simply because your reputation is at stake. If you do not do what it takes to make your goals come true, your friends and colleagues may laugh at you. Thus, this will force you into a situation where you have burnt all the bridges. As a result, you will take serious action and produce real results.

8. Measure and review your progress and results.

You will never know whether you are moving one step closer to your goals if you are not measuring the results you are getting. You have to know your position and align your course in order to get to where you are. If you sense that you are not producing the results you want, it is either you are not taking enough action, or the strategy you are using is incorrect. You will then have to change your strategy to produce the results you want.

If you are producing the results you want, congratulations. Take even more action to get yourself even more results.

9. Never forget about the reasons why you want to achieve your goals.

It is the reason that inspire you to setting your goals. So make sure you keep in mind why you want to achieve what you want in your life. When you are down, try to recall why you set the goals in the first place. Your reasons deep in your heart are the source of motivation. Always remember this.

10. Practice all the tips above for at least 21 days.

Studies have shown that in order for a new habit to form, you need to practice it every single day for at least 21 day. It is not difficult in the beginning. It is just like moving to a new environment, you will feel odd with your act, but soon you will get use to it because your mind has formed the neuro connection required.

It is the same here. Practice good habit for at least 21 days and that habit will be with you forever. Most people never question how they brush their teeth every morning. Do you notice how you brush your teeth in the morning? It is exactly the same way as always. That is what I mean by habit. Once you formed a new habit, you will do things exactly the same way everyday.

By following through all the 10 tips here, I strongly believe that achieving your goals will never be a problem anymore. Go on and apply these tips for at least 1 month and you will see the amazing results.

If You Want To Change Your Life, This Is Where You Should Start

Do you want to change your life?

This is where you should start, from your mindset – or in other words, your thinking.

You are what you think. It is what you think that will affect your decision and the action you are going to take in your life. Your mind is where everything begins. It is the idea in your mind that will makes you successful and rich.

Many people seem to not understand that in order for them to change their life for the better, they will have to start from their mind.

Most people thought that if they want to be rich, they must own big bungalows, sports cars, dine in the finest restaurant and so on. This is just the opposite.

You have to first change your mindset before you can change your physical life.

Think about it, someone who is proactive will actively search for opportunity and he will eventually found one, take action on it, and create amazing results from that.

What if you are not someone who is proactive? The whole story will be different. If you have the thinking that in order to be rich, you will need to have luxury cars, living in big bungalows, and more, you will never be rich.

This is exactly what is happening with most people. When you ask someone what do they need to consider rich, they will tell you all sorts of luxury cars, houses, and many more. Once they have all these classy stuff, then they will consider themselves as rich.

This is totally the opposite of the thinking of a successful person. Every successful person knows that you must first get rich in your mind in order for you to attract wealth, and then only comes to obtaining those classy stuff.

If you think that you need to have a sports car to be rich, you are putting the cart before the horse. This may seems ridiculous, but this is exactly what most people are thinking.

Wealth does not comes from your material possessions.
