I believe that everyone wants to be successful and I believe that everyone wants to be wealthy. Do you want to be financially free and achieve great success in your life? If you answer is a big YES, you should continue to read on.

Many people are looking for ways how they can be successful, but they’ve never thought of why they’re not successful. Knowing why is the most important principle to success. You’ve to find out what is stopping you before you can go full out and start your journey to success.

It is just like driving a car. When you’re driving and you found that you have your emergency brakes on, what will you do? You will simply release the emergency brakes so that you can go faster and smoother. It is impossible that you will keep accelerating if you knew your emergency brakes is on. This is just the same like finding out the reasons you’re not successful.

By knowing why you’re not successful YET, you’ll be able to release these “brakes” and go full force forward to achieve what you want in your life.

So here are the top 5 reasons people fail to get what they want in their life. If you are serious about getting what you want and be successful, this is what you must go through, identify the factors that hold you back so that you can ‘release’ them and put in 100% commitment to play the game of success…

1. They Are Not Visionary Enough

Do you know exactly what you want in your life? What is your 5 years goal? What do you want to accomplish in the next 10 years? Most people don’t know what they really want in their life, that is why they find it hard to be successful and that is why they live a mediocre life just like most people.

If you want to be extraordinary, you must know exactly where you are heading. You have to know the direction where you are heading. Successful people know it crystal clear what they want and they are constantly moving toward that point in their life.

You cannot hit a target without knowing where the target is. So don’t be a lost sheep and dangling in nowhere. You must identify the purpose for you to keep living on. You’ll live like a zombie, an undead if you don’t know what you want in your life. You live with your physical body but you did not know what you want in the end.

And always remember this, knowing what you want is the first and the most fundamental step to success. You cannot proceed to the next step to achieve what you want if you simply do not know what you want in your life.

2. They Are Not Thinking About What They Want All The Time

One of the biggest differences between successful people and ordinary people is that successful people think about what they want most of the time, while ordinary people think about what they don’t want most of the time. When you think about what you want all the time, you will create a strong stimuli in your mind telling yourself what you have to do to get it.

The key to success is to keep thinking of what you want most of the time. If you keep on thinking what you want, you will instill the idea of achieving what you want in your mind, and hence your mind will focus in getting you there. This is why successful people keep on talking about what they. They seem like cannot get away from the topic that they like so much about.

And this is what you must follow through and do the same. Stop thinking about what you don’t want from now on. Focus on thinking what you want ALL THE TIME. The more you think about it, the more likely you will achieve it. If you don’t believe me, just think about what you think in the last few months and think about your current life right now. Are you living the kind of life you think about in the last few months?

This is why visualization and affirmation work so well because when you visualize or when you affirm what you want, you’re actually thinking about it. Your thinking is the most powerful tool that you must leverage on. If you use it wisely, you will definitely achieve whatever you want in your life.

3. They Are Not Putting 100% Commitment To Achieve What They Want

Are you willing to do whatever it takes to achieve what you want in your life? Will you sacrifice your movie time, sleep less, arise earlier, and spend more effort into achieving your dreams and your goals? This is what successful people ARE WILLING to do.

Successful people are determined and they are committed to get what they want. They will arise early and sleep later just because of their dreams. Once you make a 100% commitment to something, there are no exceptions. It’s a done deal. Non-negotiable. Case closed! Over and out. If you make a 100% commitment to achieving your goals, that’s it. You’ll never doubt yourself whether you will be able to do it or not. There are no exceptions no matter what the circumstances. It ends the discussion, it closes the door, permits no other possibility and you will do whatever it takes to achieve them.

If you make a 100% commitment to exercise everyday for 30 minutes, no matter what, it is settled. You simply just do it. It doesn’t matter if you are traveling, if you have a 7.00am meeting, if it’s raining outside, if you went to bed late last night, if your schedule is full, or if you simply don’t feel like it. You just do it anyway.

It’s like brushing your teeth before you go to bed. You always do it, no matter what. If you find yourself in bed and you have forgotten, you get out of bed and brush them. It doesn’t matter how tired you are or how late it is. You just do it. This is what I mean by putting 100% commitment.

When you put in 100% commitment, you will definitely achieve what you want in your life.

4. They Are Not Commit To Never-Ending Improvement

The average person never read a book after they graduated from their school. Thus, if you can read a book each week, you’ll have read 4 books in a month, around 50 books in a year. What about if this keep going on for the next 3 or 5 years? Within 3 years, you’ll have read 150 books and in 5 years, you’ll have read 250 books. Can you imagine how powerful this is?

Say, if you want to be a real estate millionaire, so you choose to read books related on real estate. What can these books do on you in your life? Can you imagine that? It is so powerful that it will put you in the top 5% in your industry! This is why successful people constantly learn along their journey to success. They know it very well that by constantly learning in their life, they will become better and better each day.

Whenever you set out to improve the quality of your life, start it small. For example, if you set out to improve your skills or behavior, a set of manageable steps will give you a greater chance of long-term success. Doing too much too fast not only overwhelms you, it can doom the effort to failure. When you start with small, achievable steps, you can easily master, it reinforces your belief that you can easily improve.

Just like developing the habit of reading everyday. You don’t need to force yourself to finish a book in a week. You can start slowly by spending 1 hour into reading everyday. Start small and keep on improving until you get the results you desire.

5. They Are Not Doing Something That Will Bring Them What They Want

This is the most common reasons people fail to get what they want in their life. The world doesn’t pay you for what you know, it pays you for what you do. No matter how clever you are, how many degrees you owned or how many PhD’s you have, you will still be broke and live a mediocre life if you’re putting those knowledge into work.

When you take action, you trigger all kinds of things that will inevitably carry you to success. You let those around you know that you’re serious about your dreams and your goals. People will start paying attention on you. People with similar goals will be aligned with you. You begin to learn things from your experience that cannot be learned from listening to others or from reading books. All manner of good things begin to flow in your direction once you begin to take action.

To be successful, you’ve to do what successful people do, and successful people are highly action-oriented. They simply get up and do what has to be done. Once they have developed a plan, they start. They get into motion. Even if they don’t start perfectly, they learn from their mistakes, make the necessary corrections, and keep taking action, all the time building momentum, until they finally produce the result they set out to produce.

These are the top 5 reasons people fail to get what they want in their life. I hope that after you’ve went through this post, you’ll see the big picture why most people fail to achieve what they want and how you can be different. Success is a matter of identifying what you want and getting the things done.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. So take this one step now and all the other steps will open to you. Like what Martin Luther King Jr says, “Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step.”

Modeling is one of the powerful success technique you can leverage on your journey to success. By modeling what successful people do and what they think, you will be like them and hence, create amazing results just like them.

For example, if you want to be successful in real estate, and you model what other successful people in this field, you will do things just like them. You make calls everyday, do your housing listing everyday, market and find buyers, close deals and more. Do you think you will eventually be as successful as those people who you model?

Of course you will. No matter what field you are in, there will be a group of people who are in the top 5% of your industry. As long as you follow through their footsteps and do what they do, you will be one of them - one of the successful people in your industry.

That is why constant and never-ending learning is so important that I suggest you to read at least 1 book every 1 or 2 weeks. The more you read the more you will adopt the habit of applying what has been taught in the book. Think about it, if you read 2 books teaching you how to be a millionaire and how you can manage your financial life each month, within 1 year, you will read 24 books, and in 10 years, you will have read 240 books on this related topic.

Do you think that you will be a millionaire if you do this? Maybe yes maybe no, but what I guarantee is that your life will never be the same and you will definitely be the top 5% in your field.

Although modeling is a powerful technique, but without these top 3 core inner principle to success, you will never achieve what you really want in your life…

1. Do What You Love

Don’t just model what successful people do without first knowing what you love to do. If you hate to play golf but you model Tiger Woods, it will be hard for you to achieve the same amazing results just like him. You need to know what you really love to do and do more of that. This is the real key to live a successful life.

Successful people love to do what they do and they make a living from doing what they love. Think about it, do you think that Tiger Woods plays golf because he loves it, or is it because he wants the money from playing golf? The answer is obvious.

You can be successful in every field, as long as you tap into your full potential. And this can be accomplish by doing what you really love. When you do something you love, you will never complain, you will never give excuses, you will put in commitment and you will go full out to play it.

You’ll never be successful by doing something that you hate. It is only by doing something that you love, you will be motivated to do it all the time. It is the natural motivation that keeps you going because you love to do it so much.

Therefore, find out what you really love to do in your life, do more of it and make a living from doing it.

2. Develop A Burning Desire

Many people who use success techniques such as goal setting, visualization, affirmation, law of attraction and more in their life in the hope to get what they want. Unfortunately, they still fail to get what they want in the end. Why is this so? Does this mean that success techniques do not work? No, it is not that they don’t work, it is the people who practice the technique don’t work.

The reason for this is that they do not have the burning desire. It is your burning desire that will propel you into taking more action and put yourself in 100% commitment to make things happen. You’ll always procrastinate on something that is a wish, but you’ll never delay something that you must get it done.

When you develop a burning desire to get what you want in your life, you will put in 100% commitment and determination and you will do whatever it takes to make it come true. It is a done deal when you put in 100% commitment. There is no more argument, no more making decision involves, you’ve ALREADY DECIDED that it will go this way and you will get it done no matter what.

This is why a burning desire is important. And every successful person knows about this. Successful people know what they want and they want it so badly that they are willing to sacrifice their time and effort just to get what they want. This is what you need if you want to be successful in your life.

3. Success Is A Habitual Process

Last but not least, you must understand that success is a habitual process, it is not a destination, it is a progress. To get from point A to point C, you MUST go through point B. There is no other way, no shortcut, and you cannot skip through it. Many people thought that there are shortcuts to success, they are looking for the so-called ’secrets’ to success.

There is no overnight success. Even if you are lucky and you won a lottery, you will never be rich because you don’t know how to manage all the money. It is just like learning how to run. You can never run without learning how to walk first. It is a process that you must go through. There are no shortcuts.

Do you think you can you can build a house without first building its foundation, the slabs, the beams, the columns and all that? Do you think you can first start by building the roof of a house? That is impossible.

Success is about getting things done, it is a process, not a destination. This is a fact, a law that you cannot change. It is just like 1 + 1 equals 2. It will never changes. You must either follow through, get over it and be successful by following the success principles, or you can choose not to follow through and fall all your way.

And since success is a process, your habits play an important role in determining how successful you are. It is your habit that will determine what you do everyday. Some of your habits are constructive and will lead you to where you want to be. However, most of your habits are negative. You must get rid of your negative habits and replace them with the positive ones.

Let me give you an example here, if you develop the habit of spending 1 hour into reading everyday, do you think your life will change according to this habit? Of course, you will learn from what you have read and you will then act according to the information of what you have read. What if you spend 3 hours everyday watching television? Do you now think that this habit will drag you down and prevent you from getting what you want?

You know the answer. Therefore, if you want to be successful and accomplish amazing results in your life, you must adopt constructive and positive habits into your life. You don’t have to rush and adopt all the positive habits in one day. You can start slowly by adopting only 4 success habits each year.

If you can do this for the next 5 years, you will have 20 constructive habits that will lead you to where you want to be. So learn one positive habit every 3 months. Make it a commitment and do it no matter what.

These are the top 3 core inner principles that successful people possessed. These success principles are the core and fundamental principles that you MUST adopt if you are serious to be successful in your life. Remember, be committed and follow through what has been taught in this article here.

If you truly follow through, you will guarantee to achieve what you really want in your life. You will eventually live the successful life you desire.

You know, if you want to be successful and achieve great results in your life, you will never escape from failure. Every successful person failed in their life before. However, they did not give up. Instead, they manage to cope with their failure and make it a ‘comeback’.

The road to success is not a smooth one, it is a bumpy road and you will face with a lot of rejections and failures along the way. Therefore, learning how to handle failure in your life is utmost important if you want to be successful.

Here are some of the tips how successful people deal with their failures. If you follow through and put these tips into good use, you will be able to cope with failures and make them as your stepping stone to success…

1. Accept The Fact That Everyone Makes Mistake And Has To Face Failure In Their Life

Being successful is not about how high you climb, but it is about how many times you can get up after you fell. Therefore, the first step you must take to deal successfully with failure is that you must accept the fact that everyone makes mistake and has to face failure in their life.

Do you think that you’ve failed badly enough? If you think that you’re the most failure people in the world and you’ve failed financially, go out to the street now and ask a beggar how he got his life as a beggar. If you think that you’re the one who had made the biggest mistake in your life and nobody else have done any bigger mistake than you, pay a visit to the jail and ask the prisoners there what they’ve done to get them where they are now.

The fact is, everyone made mistakes in their life and everyone has to face failure in their life no matter they like it or not. The only difference is that successful people deal with their failures differently while ordinary people manage their failure unconstructively.

Remember, no matter who you are today in the world, you WILL have to face with failures and you MUST learn how you can deal with them SUCCESSFULLY. Even successful people like Oprah Winfrey, Colonel Sanders, Ray Kroc, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Jack Canfield, Anthony Robbins, etc faced failures in their life before. It is just that they deal their failure as a stepping stone to their journey to success.

2. Failure Will Change You No Matter How You Deal With It

The second step you must take is to understand that no matter how you deal with failure, you WILL CHANGE yourself, either to a positive side or a negative side. If you choose to blame or give excuses on the failures that you face in your life, you will never improve and you will keep on failing in your life. Is this what you want in your life?

Or maybe you can choose to ignore the failures that you faced? Successful people perceive failure as a signal that they are travelling on the wrong course. You should know it very clearly that as long as you take action, you will only get 2 outcomes. The first outcome is that you have achieved the results you want, which is regarded as a success. However, this is not the result that you will get most of the time.

The second outcome that you will get is failure or feedback. When you receive feedback, it simply means that you are taking the wrong action or something is wrong with your strategy and that is why it leads you to a wrong result. Once you have received feedback, you must change your course of action or your strategy before you try again. If you keep on doing the same thing, you will definitely get back the same old results.

So here’s the different thing that successful people deal with failure – they treat failure as a signal or a feedback telling them that something is wrong. As a result, successful people act according to the feedback they receive and they change their strategy and try it again. Eventually, they achieve what they want because they constantly changing their course to the right direction when they go out of course.

3. Learn To Listen To Feedback

No matter what you do in your life, you will receive results. Whatever it is, it is important to listen to the feedback. Simply take a step… and listen. Take another step and listen. If you hear “off course”, take a step in a direction you believe may be on course… and listen. Listen externally to what others may be telling you, but also listen internally to what your body, your feelings, and your instincts may be telling you.

Is your mind and body saying “I’m happy; I like this; this is the right job for me”, or “I’m weary; I’m tired; I don’t like this as much as I thought”. Whatever feedback you get, don’t ignore the yellow alerts. Never go against your gut. If it doesn’t feel right to you, it probably isn’t.

Virgina Satir, the author of the classic parenting book Peoplemaking, was probably the most successful and famous family therapist that ever lived. During her long and illustratious career, she was hired by the Michigan State Department of Social Services to provide a proposal on how to revamp and restructure the department so it would serve the client population better. 60 Days later, she provided the department with a 150 pages report, which they said was the most amazing piece of work they had ever seen.

“This is brilliant!” They gushed. “How did you come up with all these ideas?” She replied, “Oh, I just went to all the social workers in your system and I asked them what it would take for the system to work better.”

This is how successful people bring successful by using feedback as their stepping stone to success.

So have you written down your goals but fail to achieve them? If you achieved your goals, congratulations, but if you fail to achieve them, what do you think about goal setting? Is goal setting truly works?

Well, I’m going to share with you how these 2 successful guys leverage on goal setting to accomplish amazing results in their life later in this post. I wanted to show you that it is not goal setting does not work, it is the people who practice it that do not work.

One of the most common reasons people fail to achieve their goal is that they thought that goal setting is about writing what they want on a piece of paper and miracle will occur. This is totally not true at all. Goal setting is not a magic wand, writing down what you want only helps you to manifest and stay focused in your direction, it will not help you to create the results you want in your life.

So make this clear, goal setting is not a magic wand, you cannot get what you want by just a wave. You’ll need to put in REAL EFFORTS and TAKE ACTION to make your goals come true.

This is the number one reason people fail to achieve what they want - lack of action.

People fail to accomplish their goals not because goal setting does not work; it is not because their goals are too high; it is not that they don’t have the knowledge and resource; it is because of the lack of action. Let’s face it, human is lazy, and people tend to delay and procrastinate on their work, as a result, this is what causes most people fail to achieve what they want in their life.

Goal setting works and it works wonder IF you make it work.

As long as you are determined about your goals, you are100% committed to achieve them, and you are willing to sacrifice and take the necessary action, you will DEFINITELY achieve them.

Even Bruce Lee Knows The Power Of Goal Setting

Do you know who Bruce Lee is? I bet you’ve heard of his name. He is the world’s most famous martial artist. If you ever get a chance to visit Planet Hollywood in the New York City, look for the letter hanging on the wall that Bruce Lee wrote to himself.

Bruce wrote, “By 1980 I will be the best known oriental movie star in the United States and will have secured $10 million dollars. And in return I will give the very best acting I can possibly give every single time I am in front of the camera and I will live in peace and harmony”

So you see, even Bruce Lee has his own goals and wrote them down into paper.

Jim Carrey Leveraged On Goal Setting By Writing Himself A Check

Before Jim Carrey was famous, he walked up to the Hollywood Hills and wrote himself a check for $10 million dollars. The check was dated on Thanksgiving 1995, added the notation “for acting services rendered”. Since then, he carried this check with him to anywhere in his wallet from that day onward. Sometimes he’ll just pulling it out to keep his dream clearly visible in his mind.

The rest, as they say, is history. Carrey’s optimism and tenacity eventually paid off, and by 1995, after the huge box office success of Ace Ventura, The Mask, and Dumb & Dumber, his asking price had risen to $20 million per picture. When his father died in 1994, he placed the $10 million check into his father’s coffin as a tribute to the man who had both started and nurtured his dreams of being a star.

Both Bruce Lee and Jim Carrey have a clear vision of what they want in their life; they have clear vision, they set clear goals, they are determined and they put in 100% commitment into making their goals come true.

These are the true secrets to success. It does not matter where you come from, even if you don’t have a proper education, you can still accomplish and achieve great success in your life. All it matter is where you are heading.

And this is how goal setting can help you to stay focused in your life and achieve basically anything you have set. If you are really serious about achieving great success in your life and you would like to shortcut your journey to success, visit Goal Setting Formula now.

Let’s face it, everybody has his or her own problems. Nobody in this world is problem-free. Do you think that poor people don’t have problems? That’s impossible, poor people always have problems with money. What about rich people? Rich people have even more problems. They worry about their money and they worry about how to multiply their money.

I’m not asking you not to be rich. In fact, the richer you are and the more successful you are in your life, the more problems you’re going to face. It is just that rich and successful people perceive problems very differently.

In fact, becoming successful does not eliminate problems, it creates new ones. Imagine you are rich enough to hire cleaning people and custodians to do all the jobs you hate. Sound wonderful? Not really. You’ll lose the your privacy that comes with having servants. You’ll found them to be more trouble than they’re worth. This is true, you can ask your friends who have servants working for all the jobs they hate and they’ll tell you exactly the same thing I tell you.

Many people thought that if you can have all the money in the world, you can be problem-free. This is just not possible. Have you watched Spiderman? One of my favorite quote from Spiderman is this, “Great Power Comes Great Responsibility“. Meaning that, the more power you have, the more responsible you are going to bare.

The First Step To Manage Your Problem, Is To Understand That Everyone Has Their Own Problem, Including You

It is the same for problems. The more successful you are, the more problems you’re going to face. Think about it, do you think that your boss, who’s earning a lot more than you do, have less problems that you? To be frank with you, your boss has more problems than you, even bigger problems. He has to manage even your problems as well. If you cannot cope with your problems, he’ll have to bare your problems. That is why he is earning more than you do, because he is managing more and bigger problems.

And how can you manage the problems you face in your life? Accepting that everyone has his own problems is the first step to manage your problems.

Unless you’re dead, you’ll have your own problems. Like what I keep mentioning, everyone has problems. Nobody in this world is problem-free. If you want to be free of problem, you can, after you’re dead.

The first step to manage your problems, is to understand that you cannot escape from problems. And the more successful you are later in your life, the more problems you’re going to face. So are you ready to achieve more success in your life?

Once you’ve accepted that you’ll never avoid from problems, you must then learn how successful perceive their problems. This will be the second step…

The Second Step Is To Change Your Perception About Problems

This is what every successful person did and this is also the reason that they are successful. Successful people perceive their problems as CHALLENGE! They will never treat it as a problem as they know that problems will pull them back while challenge will keep them forward.

Most of the problems that you faced in your life have solutions. Even if they don’t have any solution, they will still contain positive positive power that will change your life. They will make you grow stronger and are able to overcome smaller problems when the time comes.

And always remember this, your problems will not last forever. One of the most inspiring books that I’ve read is this, Tough Times Never Last But Tough People Do. This book is written by Dr. Schuller, it is an inspiring book.

Like what Dr. Schuller said, tough times will never last forever, the problems you face in your life will not be forever, they will either transform into other forms such as positive changing power, or you will solve them, or they will break them, but they will never last.

Only those who persist and those who tough it out will stand in the end and succeed in their life. When successful people face problem in their life, they tough it out! They persist and they win in the end.

Always remember this, the one battle most people lose is the battle over the fear of failure. Try, start and begin again and you will be assured you won the first battle. Everyone has his own problem, and if you want to get over it, you must then change your perception about it. When you change your the way you look on your problem, you’ll never have a problem anymore.

This is the real secret how successful people manage their problems. If they can do this, so can you.
