It is just like when you’re in your schooling days, when you have any difficulties or something that you don’t understand, you’ve a choice. To choose to ask and solve the difficulties or to keep quiet and stay the same.

Here is the thing that most people don’t know about the art of asking…

Many people afraid of asking is because that they are afraid of the fear of rejection. When you ask for a pay raise and you get rejected, you’ll feel embarrass and it is just not worthy to ask for it.

Let me tell you this, even if you get rejected, you’re still the same, nothing ever happen that will make the situation worse. Allow me to explain this. Lets say that you’re alone for the dinner tonight and you think of wanting to date someone to have dinner together with you.

If you successfully dated someone to have dinner together with you, you’ve succeeded, which is a good thing.

What if you get rejected? Nothing ever happen, you’re still the same. You’re alone and you have your dinner alone. It is just like you haven’t dated someone for the dinner. Isn’t it?

Many people thought that if they get rejected, they’ll make the situation worse. No, it is not. You just stay at the same point like before you ask for it.

The situation ONLY becomes worse when you think something EXTRA like people are going to say that you’re greedy, people are going to think that you’re a fool or you’re embarrassing yourself.

As you can see now, it is all the FALSE realization that you make about yourself that makes the situation worse.

You’re still the same even if you get rejected. If you’ve a business proposal and you would like to look for business partners but you don’t dare to ask for it, you’ll still be at the same situation where you have the business proposal in your hand, but you don’t have any chance to make it come true.

If someone tells you no, you just keep continue and look for somebody else. Remember, there are more than 5 billion people in the world, someone, somewhere, sometime will say yes.

So don’t stuck in your own fear and stop moving. You need to keep on moving to get into a new position. If you stay at the same point, you’ll remain the same. If you’re poor right now, but you’re not doing anything to improve that situation, you’ll remain poor.

If you’re earning $1,000 a month but you don’t dare to ask for a raise, you’ll be earning $1,000 a month unless you take the step and ask for a pay raise.

The key in asking for what you want is to take the first step and keep on asking until you get what you want in your life. Studies have revealed that most of the sales are made after the 7th contact point. Unfortunately, most salespeople try only the first few times and they give up, saying to themselves that it is not working.

Having a clear and definite plan in your life is just the first step, affirming it constantly is the second step. In fact, it is the affirmations that you make in your life that brings you amazing results.

This is because when you affirm your goals and what you want to achieve in your life, you’re actually strengthening your mind about achieving them. By affirming over and over again, you’ll get yourself motivated and making your goals even more realistic. Everything and every step that you take will lead you toward your goals.

The problem with most people is that they are not affirming their goals. They just write down their goals on a piece of paper, put it somewhere and forget about it. If you’re truly serious in achieving your goals, you must do affirmation everyday.

The best way how you can affirm your goal is by writing down your goals on a card. And then put it beside your bed where you sleep. Every morning right after you wake up, read your goals to affirm them. Do this at least twice, one after you wake up and one before you sleep.

This is the best way to keep yourself motivated and to sink the idea of achieving your goals into your subconscious mind. Of course, you can also do this when you are free. For example, when you are queuing, when you are driving and when you are bathing. Use the free time you have to affirm your goals and imagine about the achievement of your goals.

Writing down your goals only build the momentum in you, and if you want to keep that momentum going, you need to affirm your goals.

You should know it very well that it is the lack of action that makes most people fail to achieve their goals. And the reason for the lack of action is because of the lack of motivation. Sometimes you’ll feel that you’re motivated, you’re driven and you’re ready to take on the world. And this is when you take the most action to make your goals come true.

However, you’ll not be in this state all the time. Sometimes you’ll feel lazy and you’ll feel down and you don’t wish to take any action at all. This is why affirmation is so important. Because it keeps you motivated, it keeps you driven and it makes you ready to take on the world.

So this is your assignment for today, get a piece of card and write down your goals. What you want to achieve in your life and what kind of lifestyle you want to live in. How much money you want to earn and when are you going to become a millionaire.

Make sure that you’re brief in it and use present tense in this. Your affirmations must be measurable and have a deadline. Just like you’re setting your goals. If you’re going to become rich, how much you’re going to earn and when are you going to earn it?

Decide that you’re able to live the life you want in the future right now at this very moment. If you want to be a millionaire, decide now that it is possible for you to achieve this goal. And start to make small changes that will bring you toward your goals.

One of the miracles in our life is that we can create huge amazing results by taking only small action everyday. It is the small thing that you do everyday that bring you to huge success in your life. Just like building a house, you start by laying layer and layer of bricks.

When an event happens, you can choose to either respond positively or negatively like what I mentioned above. If you choose the right response and you react positively, you’ll create positive results.

The key is when you CHOOSE THE FIRST STEP, when you decide to think positively, everything changes.

Let me give you a metaphor. When you are in point A and you have decided to move to point B, no matter how far it is, as long as you move toward that point, you’ll definitely reach there. The thing is, you’re heading to the right direction before you start your journey.

As you can see, it is the same in your life. As long as you make the first step correctly, you’ll definitely reach the destination you desire. It is just a matter of time for you to get there.

Therefore, make sure that you make every decision correctly and believe that you have control over the situation. Even if you’ve made the wrong decision and took the wrong step, it is never too late to change your course now.

ExcusesOne of the most common reasons people fail to achieve their goal is that they make excuses. You and I both know that if we want to achieve something in our life, we must take full responsibility and never to make any excuses.

Excuses are just like desires, both come from within, but the difference between them is huge. Desire will drive you toward your goals, while excuses pull you from your goals. For those who set their goals, as long as their goals are realistic and achievable, the only reason for not reaching them is you.

If your commitment is lacking, you’ll make up any excuse to justify failure. If excuses are not a good thing, then why there are so many people making excuses all day long? The answer to this question is this, all excuses do is help you rationalize in your own mind why you are not doing or achieving something that you’re suppose to achieve or do.

Consider this situation, your alarm clock didn’t work and you oversleep. So you’re late to your workplace. And on the way to your workplace, you get caught in a heavy traffic. As a result, you end up getting no parking spaces because all the parking spaces are fully occupied. So you park your car far away and walk to your workplace. When you reach your office, you tell your boss about all these things that you’ve been through the whole morning. Do you think your boss will care?

No! Why? This is simply because all of these are excuses. And excuses only SOUNDS rational to you. To your boss, it is lousy excuses, not reasons.

This is very true in our life. A lot of people want to be rich. They want to be a millionaire and they want to be successful in their life. However, most of them will never make their dreams come true. They’ll tell you that they lack the money to do it. They’ll tell you that they don’t have the knowledge. They’ll tell you that they just don’t have the time to create an additional stream of income. They’ll tell you that they’re too old or too young for it.

They’ll come up with all kinds of excuses that they THOUGHT are the supporting reasons that could help them feel that it is not their fault. The thing is, when they make excuses, they’re not in control.

“You can make all the excuses you want, but don’t forget that when you make excuses, you’re not in control of the situation.”

If someone tells you, “I could have been a marathon runner, but I lost my leg in a car accident.” Try to tell that to Denny Chipollini of Skippack, Pennsylvania. He was in a car accident that severed both his legs. When you ask him about this he’ll tell you that he refers to this accident as a ‘gift’ because it changed his life for the better. Despite all these odds coming against him, he managed to ran 5 kilometer on his artificial leg. He even found a non-profit organization called Generation Hope and used his ‘gift’ to inspire people to overcome all odds and adversity with his ‘no excuses and no limits’ attitude toward life.

If you study the success stories of people like Donald Trump, Warren Buffett, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Richard Branson, etc, you’ll find that they faced a lot of obstacles when they’re trying to achieve their goals. However, they never made any excuses, except the ‘excuses’ that keep them going on.

Always remember this, when you give excuses on something, you’ll always lose the power to control the situation. If you fail to achieve your goals, don’t make excuses, instead, give empowering reasons that will keep you moving forward.

Before you can become a millionaire or a successful person, you must learn to eliminate excuses and accept full responsibility for your life. You must learn how to cope with obstacles. You must learn how to go over, under, around or through all the obstacles until you achieve your objectives.

So how can you eliminate the habit of making lousy excuses?

The way to eliminate this habit is pretty simple, desire and commitment are the keys to elimination excuses.

When you are truly committed to achieve something, you’ll never give up and you’ll never give excuses. Just like if you’re someone who likes to play golf, you’ll be able to wake up 6am in the morning and drive to the golf site even if it is raining. You’ll never make excuses for this. Instead, you’ll tell yourself empowering reasons to keep going such as, “my friends are waiting for me at the golf club, I can’t let them down” or “I know it is raining here, but it is not raining at the golf club far away from here”.

This is how you can eliminate the habit of making lousy excuses. It is the same if you want to be a millionaire in your life. If the desire for you to become a rich is strong enough, you’ll never make excuses like “I don’t have the time”, “I’m just too young or old” or “I don’t have the money to make money”.

I bet there must be events in your life where you were so passionate in doing something that you forgot to make excuses, and you end up achieving them. Think about it. Maybe it is a tennis match or maybe it is the mobile phone you’re having right now. When you want something strong enough and if you put in 100% commitment, you’ll never make any excuses.

So I hope that no matter what you do, you’ll be passionate in it and put in 100% commitment. If you’re not committed, you’ll always give excuses when you encounter obstacles.

So here’s what you’re going to do in the following 21 days. You’re going to transform your life into someone that you always dream of, forever.

Before you make this decision, ask yourself, “Am I serious about changing my life? Do I really want to live a successful life?”

Once you’ve answered the above questions, it is time for you to be committed and ready to change your life. I bet that you knew what I’m going to ask you to do. Well, if you want to change your bad habit, you’ll have to do it consistently for the next 21 days.

If you want your goals to fully sink into your subconscious mind, you’ll have to write down your goals for the following 21 days. If you want to stop smoking, don’t smoke for 21 days and you’ll change the habit. If you’re going to lose weight by exercising every morning, wake up early and exercise for the next 21 days.

So if you get into the habit of looking at your objectives everyday for the next 21 days, you will have created a new habit, and what a difference it will make in your life.

Are you ready to change your life? In fact, you already know how you can change your life. Just do what you suppose to do in the next 21 days and you’ll form the new habit in your life. Here are some of the guidelines that will be able to help you in changing your life within 21 days…

1. Take 100% Responsibility

Within these 21 days, don’t make any excuses, don’t blame and don’t complain. Take 100% responsibility. This is the first thing that you must do to change your life. For things to change, you must first change yourself. Always remember this, nothing will change if you’re not changing.

You may say that you’re not responsible for the economic downturn. True, but once you take 100% responsibility, you’ll have the control over the situation. Instead of blaming the economy, you’ll learn how to cope with the obstacles you’re currently facing.

What I mean here is that you must change the response that you make in your life. For example, if you earned an extra $100, what you do with this extra $100 will be your response. You can choose to spend all of this extra money or you can choose to invest this $100 and increase your net worth. It is the response that you make that will change your life.

As you can see now, if you learn to take 100% responsibility, you’ll have the ability to control the situation and you are in charge of your own life. Therefore, in the following 21 days, don’t blame, don’t complain and don’t make any excuses in your life. Once you found out that you’re making any of these mistakes, stop immediately and focus on positive thoughts.

2. Focus In Where You Are Heading

You must live a directed life in these 21 days. So know what you really want to achieve in your life, write down your goals once every morning after you woke up and once every night before you sleep. You need to sink the idea of your goals into your subconscious mind and this is what you’ll have to do.

If you have your goals, you can then stay focused in your life and live your life in a direction. Goal setting is not a magic wand, it is something that allows you to be focused and know what you really want to achieve in your life. Can you imagine a life without goal?

Most people live a mediocre life because they don’t have a goal. They wake up every morning, get ready and go to work. They come back only after work, have dinner with their family, watch TV for the night and prepare to sleep. This is their day. Do you want to live this kind of life? It is a life without a clear direction of getting what you want.

Thus, make sure you follow through and write down your goals every morning and every night. By doing this for consecutive 21 days, you’ll experience huge change in your life after that.

3. Motivate, Learn and Improve

One of the reasons for causing inaction is because of the lack of motivation. If you don’t have the motivation, you’ll never take action. You need motivation to keep you going in your life, to achieve what you want, to earn more, to be a millionaire and to be successful.

The key point here is for you to develop the habit of constant learning through reading. You need to learn to grow.

If you’re not learning, you’ll stop to grow. Learning and keep on improving is crucial in bringing you to your ultimate success. Almost every successful person encourages you to learn because they know that learning will shape your mind, change your thinking and thus, change your life.

However, learning itself will not bring you what you want. You need to take action to get to where you want to be

4. Take Action Everyday

Once you’ve your goals written down and your action plan created. It is time for you to follow through your action plan and achieve your goals. So take at least 3 action steps everyday for the following 21 days. You MUST do this. No matter how busy you are, take 3 actions even if you need to sleep late.

This is the most important habit you must develop during these 21 days. You must develop the habit of taking consistent action everyday. You know it very well that if you are just sitting right there doing nothing, you’ll achieve your goals.

Success is about getting things done. The more things you get them done, the more results you’ll receive. This is what separates a successful person from an ordinary one. Every successful person is a go-getter. So learn to be a go-getter in the following 21 days.

This is the 21-day challenge for you. I hope that you can follow through and be who you are supposed to be. Everyone wants to be rich, everyone wants to be a millionaire and everyone wants to live a successful life. Time ManagementIf you’re going to be successful in your life, you must learn about time management. No matter who you are or where you live today, both you and I have the same time a day, 24 hours. Even if you are the president, you’ll still have 24 hours, nothing more and nothing less.

A successful person has the same 24 hours a day, just that he manages it and make the most out of each minute. Therefore, if you want to accomplish more in your life, time management is a necessary skill.

Time is the only non-negotiable thing in our life. You can’t buy it or sell it, other people can’t give it to you. You can only learn how to manage your time well. So learn to organize your time. If you can manage your time and get more things done, what will happen to you? You’ll get more done.

Suppose you spend 2 hours a day to earn $100, what if you’re able to organize your time better and get more done within that 2 hours? What if you’re able to earn $200 after you’ve developed the time management skill? It is going to be a great help in your life. You’ll achieve what you want in your life faster.

So how do you develop time management skill? Very easy, just follow through these5 steps that I’m going to share with you below…

1. Create a daily planning system that works for you.

This is the first thing that you need to do. If you don’t have a list of to-do task, how are you going to know whether you’ve got your things done and how can you tell if you’ve done the most important task? So you must create a daily planning system that works for you.

For example, you can write all your to-do list on a piece of paper or you can use any computer software that you think will help you in this. You don’t need to spend hundreds to buy a time management device. As long as the system you created is easy to follow and suitable for you, it’ll do just fine.

I usually use a piece of paper. I’ll write down every single task that I need to get it done by the day on that paper, and then put it beside my computer so that I can see them and remind myself of getting them done.

2. Prioritize your task.

I can’t stress the importance of this enough. Many people are trying to achieve more in their life, but most of them spend time on the wrong things. They spend most of their time on less important task. If you want to be successful, this is the skill that you definitely need to apply in your life.

Most people spend 80% of their time to get 20% of the results. You need to do this the other way round. Spend 20% of your time and generate 80% of the results you desire. And you can achieve this by prioritizing your task and get more important task done first.

When you get more important task and result-producing task done, you definitely will create more results and accomplish much more in your life.

You may have heard of the story of Ivy Lee and Bethelehem Steel, but if not, it bears repeating. Ivy Lee was a management consultant who wanted a contract with the company. Schwab, the president of the company, rebuffed him, saying that they already knew more about producing steel than Lee would ever know. Then he gave Lee a challenge that would go down in business folklore. Schwab told Lee that the only thing he lacked was the time to implement all the ideas he had and that if Lee would show him a way to get more things done with his time, he would pay him any fee within reason.

According to the management expert Donald Schoeller, Lee replied, “Write down the most important tasks you have to do tomorrow and number them in order of importance. When you arrive in the morning, begin at once on number one and stay on it till it’s completed. Recheck your priorities; then begin with number two. If any task takes all day, never mind. Stick with it as long as it’s the most important one. If you don’t finish them all, you probably couldn’t do so with any other method,and without some system you’d probably not even decide which one was most important. Make this a habit every working day. When it works for you, give it to your men. Try it as long as you like. Then send me your check for what you think it’s worth.”

What he was saying is so unbelievably simple that you may find it hard to grasp its importance. Schwab loved it. He sent Lee a check for $25,000, calling the advice the most profitable lesson he’d ever learned.

3. Focus in doing one thing at a time.

This is another important time management skill that you must use in your life. You’ve to break down your goals into smaller goals and to-do tasks, and then focus in doing just one of the task at a time. You can achieve much more by focusing in doing just one thing at a time.

Think about it, if you are to read an article, in the same time you try to chat with your friend, do you think you can fully sink the whole idea of that article into your mind? And do you think that you can get the task finish faster? Of course not, you’ll get distracted by all the instant messages and you may even spend time thinking of what to reply there. If you put in 100% of your focus into one task, you definitely will do it better and more effectively.

Do you know how can you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. This shows that as long as you stay focused in getting your tasks done, you’ll be able to get more done and even huge tasks that seem impossible. It is the same as building a house. It may seem like it is going to take forever to complete the house when you look at the workers start by clearing the site and getting it leveled.

However, as time pass by, you’ll then see the house being build up little by little. Time is a great factor to change, right? Rome was not built in a day and so with the successful life that you desire. It is not likely that you’ll make $1 million in just one day, but it is possible for you to achieve this within 3 years or so.

Many just talk about wanting to be successful. They talk about the cars that they dreamed of and they talk about how great it is if they have the money to buy the things that they want. The thing is, they just talk about it, they never really do something to make their dreams come true.

1. Put In 100% Commitment

No matter what you want to achieve in your life, you must be 100% committed to achieve it. It is the lack of commitment that separates successful people from ordinary people. Successful people put in commitment to get their task done in order to achieve the things that they want. Are you willing to spend time to do what you suppose to do? Or are you going to just talk about your dreams but never put your thoughts into action?

Once you have created a plan, just follow through. I know that when you set the alarm to wake up at 6am, you always put it off and sleep for 5 minutes more. How many times you try to wake up early in the morning to jog but you keep delaying it and tell yourself, “I’m tired”, “I’ll do it next time”, or “I’ll do it later”?

It is the commitment that propels you into taking action. Stop delaying, procrastinating and all those internal debates. You’ve decided to do it, and just do it, don’t think about it. The more you think the more you’re going to procrastinate about it. You’re going to find excuses NOT to take action if you keep on thinking.

The number one solution to develop your commitment is to take action without doubting so much.

2. Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

You definitely need to get out of your comfort zone if you want to be successful. If you stay in your comfort zone, you’ll never change and you’ll never improve. People are afraid to change because once they get out of their comfort zone, they’ll feel uneasy and they’re not feeling comfortable anymore.

You need to have to courage to change and get out of your comfort zone. Don’t stay comfort, if you’re feeling comfort right now, you’d better be careful about it because you’ll feel lazy to move out of it.

Just like do you dare to venture to a place where you’ve never been before and where you’ve no friends, family members or relatives? You’ll have to live on your own and you’ll have to work to live your life alone. Do you dare to make such decision? This is what leaving your comfort zone is all about.

So how can you get out of your comfort zone? The best way to leave your comfort zone is by taking small steps venture out of your comfort zone. Test the water and take little action in the beginning. Make the decision to change your life little by little. For example, if you’ve no reading habit, you can decide to read for 15 to 30 minutes a day from now on.

3. The Burning Desire

Do you know why most people just talk about making money or what they want in their life but they never achieve it? One simple reason, they lack the burning desire. If you’ve the burning desire to achieve the things that you want in your life, you’ll DEFINITELY achieve them.

A burning desire is what drives you into taking action, it is what keeps you motivated and it is what gives you the energy to go on even if you fail thousands of times. You need to take action to make things come true and action is created by energy. The thing is, energy is generated by the level of your desire.

The higher the level of your desire, the more energy will be created by you and therefore, you’ll take more action to make your dreams and your goals come true.

Have you ever seen a kid who wants to buy a toy but his mother rejects to buy for him? What will happen next? The kid will cry and shout until his mother buys him or the toy. The boy will try to do anything to get what he wants, he’ll never consider whether his mother has enough money to buy the toy or not.

This is the kind of burning desire that I’m talking about. Will you do whatever it takes to achieve what you want in your life?

Master Your Mind, Design Your DestinyDo you ever wish you had more time, money, or other resources? If only you had all those things, you believe, you could make all your dreams come true. Alas, you don’t, and so, year after year, your dreams stay just that: dreams.

But it doesn’t have to be like that. In his book, Master Your Mind, Adam Khoo argues that all those perceived limitations are just illusions. The fact is, he writes, we all have everything we need to be successful. We just need to learn how to put it to use. And in this book, he teaches exactly how it’s done.

He starts with the premise that we all have basically the same neurological make-up. We all have roughly the same 1,000 billion neurons in our brains. It’s what we make of them that makes the difference.

So how is it that some people are able to accomplish so much with their 1,000 billion nerve cells, and others accomplish zilch? Adam argues that the key to those differences lies in the behaviors and habits that get installed while we grow up. The majority of people are not exactly brought up with a winning mindset. And unfortunately, most of those people never question what they do and never change their habits. It probably never occurs to them that they could. But of course we CAN change habits, behaviors and beliefs by stimulating our brains in the right way and creating new mental patterns.

The technology Adam uses to reprogram the mind is NLP, i.e., Neurolinguistic Programming, which has proven to be highly effective at that task. And after carefully reading it, I found that Master Your Mind is not just another book on NLP, useful as that may be, but it actually goes far beyond that.

First of all, Adam’s Master Your Mind offers a comprehensive, thorough, and easy-to-follow description of the actual techniques that are necessary to accomplish that goal. But it doesn’t stop there. It’s also an extensive workbook that helps the reader to put all those techniques to use right away. Thirdly, it offers a wealth of inspiring examples.

Adam Khoo himself is a case in point. Starting out as an academically weak student at the very bottom of the pile, he used some of those very strategies he teaches here to reprogram himself and turn himself into a top student. Moreover, unlike his fellow students who were satisfied with a normal career path and income come graduation, he set himself the goal to become a millionaire by age 26 – and achieved it.

He started his first business while still in high school, and several more while in college, and he even became a best-selling author with his book on how to become an excellent student. He developed a program called Patterns of Excellence that he used to teach others to repattern their mind to achieve success as well.

So Adam is quite an inspiration indeed. And he provides us with many more inspirational examples throughout the book, from Sylvester Stallone to Richard Branson.

From the outset, Adam urges us to have the right mindset: And one of the key parts of that mindset is planning for success by setting specific goals, developing strategies to achieve those goals, and putting them into action.

Of course, if you do enough challenging things, some of them will not work out as planned, which is something most people call “failure” and try to avoid at all cost. Adam, however, argues that there’s no such thing really. What may seem like failure is just feedback, and that attitude is essential for achieving any goal because paying attention to feedback helps us stay or get back on the right track and accomplish our goals.

He also introduces two more essential ingredients: an empowering belief system, and the right kinds of values. He doesn’t leave it at that, but provides plenty of specifics and work sheets that help his readers to establish those for themselves.

Next, Adam takes away our excuses! He urges us to stop playing the victim. Instead, he shows that taking absolute responsibility for everything that happens in your life is the key to self-empowerment. Which, by the way, does NOT mean blaming yourself. Far from it. Instead, it means that when something doesn’t go according to plan, you ask yourself what YOU can do to turn things around. Whether it’s customers that won’t buy or colleagues that are uncooperative, reclaim your power to change things. And the only person whose actions you really have control over is you.

And so, this is what it means that you can only change what you take responsibility for. If you believe something is out of your control, how could you possibly do something about it?

Adam takes it even further: not only does he challenge his readers to take responsibility for their results, but also for how they feel. This book is not for whiners but for people who are prepared to do serious work on themselves.

And in keeping with that, each chapter features exercises and action questions that guide the reader through that work that will, as the book promises, help them master their mind.

Among the key aspects of Adam’s mind mastery program are beliefs and how to take control of them and turn them into the kind that will get results. He calls them the “tap to our personal potential” and provides evidence that they can even change our biochemistry.

Once again, that section is followed by an extensive workbook section where you can track down any limiting beliefs and change them into empowering ones.

And that’s just for starters. Adam goes on to provide detailed instructions on how to achieve key performance by gaining control of your emotional states. There’s a long section on successful modeling, one of the key concepts of NLP and a key tool for achieving success.

Next, a detailed chapter on how to manage your brain, with how to take control of all the aspects of your perception and imagination, by manipulating its submodalities, along with instructions on associating and disassociating. While I’ve read about these before, I’ve never seen them treated so clearly and in this much detail. Once again, it comes with detailed workbook so you can actually do it and not just read about it.

Of course, the techniques for manipulating submodalities and emotional states serve a purpose, to motivate yourself, to overcome procrastination, to remove intense negative emotions and change them into neutral ones, to change cravings to disgust, and much more.

He even shows how to use the swish pattern technique to change lifelong habits almost instantly, including how to move from hitting the snooze button and going right back to sleep to jumping out of bed with enthusiasm as soon as the alarm goes off.

There’s more, including a detailed section on anchoring, both on setting anchors for desired states of mind, and on removing unwanted anchors, and another section on meaning.

All in all, this is a very comprehensive program on mastering one’s mind, and anyone who does all the exercises can hardly help but feeling profoundly changed.

Any drawbacks? Master Your Mind, with its 364 pages, is really long for an ebook, and it’s been a bit of a pain to read on the small screen of my laptop, what with having to scroll up and down all the time. But it was so worth it that I didn’t mind anymore once I got into it. Besides, if you have a bigger screen, that shouldn’t be an issue anyway. And, of course, you can always print it out.
