How Your Content Serves?

Here is the point, how does your content serve your readers? Should you write a long article? Or should you just write a short and simple article? For me, I will prefer to write short and straight forward posts. As you can see in my blog here, all of my posts are not very long. I personally don’t like to write something very long. For me, as long as my point is there, and people understand what I wanted to tell them, than it will be fine. It is not necessarily that you will have to come up with a very long article or post to attract readers.

Article

In fact, short articles are great in achieving the goals as what you recommended in your content. Did you know that the more you write, more mistakes you are going to get? So you should go for short and easy to understand articles instead of writing something long and going round and round. I believe that you bought books to read before, did you find that some of the books you’ve bought are very boring to read? One of the reasons is that the content of the book is too long and it is not straight to the point. This will result in creating a boring content and it is going to drag the story very long.

Well, you can write long articles if you want to. However, you must make sure that your readers will read from the beginning until the end. What is more important here is about the quality of your content. It is not about how many words or pages you have. It is about the information that you are providing for your readers. If you write something long and not what your readers are looking for, they are not going to read them.

Now, you get the idea. So the number of words don’t count, it is the quality of the information that you are going to provide for your readers. However, here is one of the psychological fact, when people see a long article, the first thing gets into their mind is boredom. However, it is still depends on the title and other factors, but the numbers of pages and words do really contribute a lot in first impression. Therefore, make sure that you are doing it right so that your effort will not be wasted.

If I Can Sell, So Can You!

Well, if you think you cannot make any money online, then you are wrong. I’ve got this kind of thinking as well last time. I thought that making money online is difficult, and affiliate marketing just don’t seem to work for me. However, until last few days, I check my MoreNiche account, and I found out that I finally got sales on Making You Richer coming in! What a great news for me. From that very moment, I know that everything is possible. I’m not a pro marketer, I don’t learn marketing or any business in schools, I study engineering in my university. But still, I can make money online, and if I can make it, so can you!

There Is No Free Lunch

Yes, you read it right here, there is no free lunch in this world. I believe that you’ve come across ads that claim that you can make $10,000 in just one week if you follow their system, you can be a Millionaire over night if you do this and do that. Now, you are going to feel frustrated after you bought their products and find that you are not actually making any money from it. The online business is exactly the same like offline business, you will have to put in a lot of effort in it. Just like you start by selling ice-cream, do you think that you can sell millions of ice-cream in just a few days? It is impossible. Everything is tough in the beginning, it is the same for internet business. You’re not going to get rich quick.

No Free Lunch

Well, maybe you can say that you’ve seen people actually become a Millionaire overnight with their online business. However, let me tell you this truth, the percentage for this to happen to you are one in a million. Even if you are the one in a million who is so lucky, your online business is not going to last long. Why? This is simply because you don’t have the knowledge about how it actually works. You are not going to gain skills like how to drive traffic, how to create a high conversion sales page, you are not going to learn how to actually build a long-lasting business. Your Financial Plan

“If you fail to plan, you plan to fail”, this is what we often heard in the business world. This is so right, although we don’t like to admit but you knew that if you did not plan for your future, you are not going to create anything amazing in your life. This is the same in financial world. If you want to achieve financial freedom, then you will have to plan for it. You will need to track every single penny of where your money goes to, you will need to decide how much you are going to save and how much you are going to invest every month.

Financial Planning

Talking about financial planning, you will have to start it as soon as possible. The moment you decided that you want to make more money, you want to achieve financial freedom, you should start your financial planning immediately. Maybe you don’t know how, but just write down and track where your money goes. It is not necessarily must be formal like writing cash flow statement, balance sheet and etc. All you need is just something like writing a diary of how much you spend each day and how much you are going to save and invest each month. The earlier you start doing this the better. You should track down your expenses like dining, utility bills, rents and others.

Actually, to make it simple, financial planning is a plan for you to understand:

  1. Where your financial status stand
  2. Where are you heading financially
  3. How to get there financially

This is exactly the same as planning for a holiday trip. For example, you are traveling in Malaysia. First you have to decide where you want to visit, is it that you want to visit Langkawi Island? Then you will have to determine how are you going to reach there, you can either take planes or by ship. You will also need to prepare a ‘plan B’, just in case that if you face any problems during the trip such as accident, late departure…

The same concept applies in financial planning, you will need to know where you are financially, then decide to which level of financial you want to reach. After that you must plan for how you are going to reach that financial level. Financial planning is a MUST for everyone, no matter you are a Millionaire or just an ordinary guy, you need to plan it. I know that money cannot buy everything, but money is important in our life! This is what schools never teach, we need to learn all this by ourselves. Yet money is the most important thing in our life. Everything you do is related to money.

Therefore, start your financial planning today. It is not going to take a long time, maybe like ten to twenty minutes a day. What if I say that if you willing to spend this ten to twenty minutes each day, you are going to achieve much more financially, will you do this now? Think about it.

In the route to success, you will face a lot of obstacles. It is all about how you are going to cope with all these obstacles if you want to be successful. This is the difference between a successful person and an ordinary person. Too often, we will have negative thoughts. Even for successful people, they will have negative thoughts. It is the matter of how they deal with negative thoughts once they occur. So what successful people do when negative thoughts come into their mind is that they will say no to any of the negative thoughts. Many people only focus on what is happening, just like if they failed before, they will stay in the past and think that they will still fail again. I’ve got a friend who invests in stocks, but he lost most of his money in the market. After that he set up the belief that stock market is just not the place for him to make money. What had happened in the past is not the same in the future. You can be very rich today, but it doesn’t mean that you will still be rich the next day. So what you should do is to focus in current moment. A dream is just to lead to where you wanted to be, a goal is a target to keep you focus in your life.

How to Decrease Your Page Loading Time

Have you ever come across some blogs that are difficult to load? I bet you have. Some blog out there contain tons of images, and it takes forever to load. It is very frustrating to have such a blog. I personally don’t like to wait for a blog to load. I will straight away close it when I have to wait for a long time. I’m not sure whether you are the same with me, but I believe that most readers are the same.

People don’t like to wait, they will leave if they wait too long. So you must find some ways to reduce your blog’s loading time. I don’t think that this blog of mine, The Millionaire Secrets take a long time to load. So far every time when I visit, it loads fast. If you are having problem of slow loading, please tell me. Now, if you want to increase your page load time, then you will need to know what are the causes that make your page load slows. There are basically a lot of reasons, but I’m going to talk about a few here which I think are more important.

1. The number of links you have. Some people’s blog has a long list of blogroll, and this will definitely slow down you blog’s loading time. Keep it in an optimal number, say 10 to 15 will be enough.

2. The number of images you use. You should keep the number of images into minimum. Images eat up a lot of spaces and they take a long time to load. I know that images are useful to make your site great and they can also become your site content as well. However, make sure that the number of images you have don’t make load slower. Use gif file instead of jpeg file. This is because gif file is smaller than jpeg file, but the quality also varies.

3. Your blog template also contribute a large portion in determining the loading time. So you must make sure your blog’s layout is smooth, and not broken.

4. Excessive Javascripts also going to pull down your blog’s loading time. The one that I don’t like the most is Google Analytics, sometimes it takes forever to load. Just like images in your blog, you must keep Javascripts to a minimum if possible. Some plugins are nice, but they consume too much time for loading. Beware of this.

5. Flash elements. Some people using fancy flash animation in their header, it is nice, but if the file is too large, it will slows down your loading time. You can improve this the way just like images and Javascripts.

There you have it. I hope that you understand the importance of your blog’s loading time. It will greatly affect your readers and visitors. Even if you have the number one content, but if your page takes too long to load, people will run first before they read your content.

Your Response Determines Your Success

You’ve prepared everything, you wear your favorite cool clothes and drive your car out to have dinner with your friends. On the way, you suddenly come across a road accident, and the police there telling you to take another route, you cannot pass through until the road is cleared. Now, you have a few choices. You can choose to take another route to the restaurant, you can choose to stay there until the road is cleared, or you can choose to go back home.

Facing Feedback

Which one is your decision here is not really important. Because I just wanted to let you know that in our life, we always face this kind of ‘similar’ events. When you are pursuing for success, there will be a lot of obstacles you will face. And this is when your decision is important. When you face ‘road blocks’ just like the road accident in your life, what should you do? Change your strategy and chase for your dreams again? Or are you going to feel down and go back home? It is exactly the same metaphor here.

If your desire to go to a certain place is strong enough, once you get a feedback, you will change your strategy and try to reach there with other route. However, if your desire is not strong enough, maybe you will call your friends and told them that you’re not going to meet with them anymore because there is an accident on the road, just like the case above. What if you chose to stay until the road is cleared? Meaning that you are using the same strategy again, maybe you can achieve your goals, but it will be later.

So you can see now, how successful you can be can be reflected by the response that you give to the circumstances happening around you. In fact, to be successful is easy, it has got no secrets. All you need is a lot of hard work, and a lot of determination. These are the most crucial ingredients for success. But these are also the main reason why people cannot achieve success, because most of us are lack of determination, and we often procrastinate on the actions that we should be taken.
