Use Deep Linking In Your Blog For Better SEO

As you know, links are the veins of a website. No matter it is a website or a blog, links are equally important if you want your site to be place high in search engine. Just like the title, you should try to do the deep linking in every of your post if possible. So what exactly does this deep linking means? From wikipedia, this is the defination:

“Deep linking, on the world wide web, is making a hyperlink that points to a specific page or image on another website, instead of that website’s main or home page. Such links are called deep links.”

Which means that deep links are the links that link to subdomain, and not the main or homepage or a website. To make it easy, when I said that you should do deep linking of your own posts in your blog means that you will have to link back to your older posts when you publish a new post. If you can’t increase the number of links pointed to your blog, then you can at least do this to increase the number of deep links in your blog. There are a few good reasons why you should do this though. One of them is that you can help your readers dig up some of your older posts which are very informative to your readers.

When your blog grows big, you will have a lot of posts, and if you don’t have deep links, then it will be a waste for all your old quality posts. Your readers may miss your older posts. The same happens to search engine crawler. The search engine spider can crawl through your blog more easily if you do this. This will at least help you in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for your blog. You should do this anytime when you found your old post are related to your current ones. Just like my post here, it is about Blogging Tips, and I will link to it whenever I talk about it.

Bloggers Against Abuse

This is another red day for all bloggers out there. Today, 27th, I will blog for the good cause. Before this I’ve received invitation from members of BlogCatalog to post for charity. And this is it. Lets join the movement together, all you need to do is just post something about abuse. And in the mean time:
- Spread the word among all the bloggers you know. Perhaps even give them a link to this Discussion.
- If you are a graphic’s designer, perhaps you can come up with some small badges announcing the event, that we can then place on our blogs. To share the badge, place it on this thread.
- List any organizations, on this thread, who are involved in putting an end to abuse.

And for my topic today, I’m going to talk about Elder Financial Abuse!

I’ve been searching through the net, and there are some important points that you will need to
know, to prevent elder financial abuse from happening. We need to raise the public awareness about this issue. Maybe you’re just at your 20s or 30s, like me, but we are humans. We will grow old and someday we might face this kind of problems as well.

Lets get started. First, elder financial abuse includes:
1. Taking money or property
2. Forging an elder person’s signature
3. Getting an older person to sign a deed, will, or power of attorney through deception, coercion, or undue influence
4. Using the older person’s property possessions without permission
5. Promising lifelong care in exchange for money or property and not following through on the promise
6. confidence crimes are the use of deception to gain victims’ confidence
7. Scams are fraudulent or deceptive acts
8. Fraud is the use of deception, trickery, false pretence, or dishonest acts or statements for financial gain
9. Telemarketing scams. Perpetrators call victims and use deception, scare tactics, or exaggerated claims to get them to send money. They may also make charges against vistims’ credit cards without authorization

You Can Success In The Easier Way

Hi, welcome back to The Millionaire Secrets. Lately I’ve come across this article and I felt that it is very interesting. So I decide to talk about it here and share the idea with you.

Did you know that we always have choices in our lives? And as for success, there are two ways you can achieve it. You can either choose the hard way, or you can choose the easy way. So which one will you choose? The answer is obvious. But the problem is, many people can’t see the easy way to success, and they tend to do things the hard way. Most of us has been told, from the moment we were born, that success requires hard work. You must struggle and fight for success. Just like the saying goes, ‘no pain, no gain‘. There are indeed some truth to this statement, but the easy way to achieve success do exist.

Now, listen carefully, because this will be the turning point of how your life going to change after I told you the secret. The secret is, “Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change“. You must pay attention to these phrase, and find out what it really means. Well, you may tell me, everybody knows about this, but I can tell you what. I can sure that 80% of people do not really understand what this phrase means.

So let me give you an example here, how changing the way you look at things, can change the things you look at. If you ask some one about this question, ‘can I smoke when I’m praying?’. The answer is obviously a no. But if you change the way you ask the question to ‘can I pray when I smoking?’. Mostly, the answer you will get is a yes. People may answer you that you can do it because you should always keep praying at every moment. However, the two questions will lead to the same result, that is smoking and praying simultaneously.

So you see, you must know how to change the way how you look at things. Always remember this, we have been conditioned that what we see with our eyes are reality. But this is not true. The reality you see is not real, it is only because you choose to observe it to be your reality. I like this movie a lot, The Matrix. I’m sure you know about this movie. The movie shows us that the real live we are living is not real, it is because our mind had set to see it as real. Another example here, if your watch and your friend’s watch has a difference of 15 minutes, who’s watch is faster? Again, it is totally depends on how you look at it. If you choose to believe that your friend’s watch is slow, then that will be the reality you are in.

Having said all that, I hope that you know how you can change the way you look at things and hence the things you look at will change. You can live a more happier live if you choose to see things positively. And if this happens, then you can achieve much more in your life. To Your Success.

Why You Earn Less Than Michael Jackson

Yes, you read it right, why is it that you earn much less than a pop star like Michael Jackson? Have you ever thought of this question before? I bet you don’t. Let me give you one brief example, between a heart surgeon and a pop star like Michael, who earns more? The answer is obvious, it is definitely Michael Jackson can earn a lot more than a heart surgeon.

But you might ask, a heart surgeon creates more value than a pop star (Before this I’ve posted about Your Value Determines Your Income, you can read how value determines your income if you don’t understand how value in our life works). Indeed that a heart surgeon creates more value than a pop star. A heart surgeon can save life, but a pop star only brings you joy. However, what a surgeon lack is, scalability factor.

The scalability factor is a very important component if want to increase your income and make more money. The scalability factor can magnify your works and multiply the value you create. Take back the previous example of a heart surgeon and Michael Jackson. A heart surgeon can save some one’s life in an operation, say 3 hours. And the heart surgeon can make probably $3000 for his operation. Hence, the heart surgeon creates value in a short time, but he don’t have the scalability factor, he can save only one people’s life in the same time.

What about Michael Jackson? If he performs a concert, how many people can he reach? Thousands of his fans will rush for him. What if the concert is broadcast all over the world? How many people can Michael reach now? Probably millions. Although the value in the concert he creates is less, but the scalability is much greater. And if Michael‘s cd albums sold a million copies a year, how many times do you think he get paid? The answer is multiple times.

So now you know that how powerful scalability can be. And if you don’t have the scalability factor, the value you create will be of less effective to increase your income. Do not misunderstand that you can only increase your scalability factor if you are a pop star, this is not the case. No matter what profession you are in, you can increase your scalability factor. All you need is to be creative and think out of the box. How can you reach more people by doing less?

Your income is determine by:

Income = Value x Time x Scalability Factor

So you can start keeping track of how you send your time each day and concentrate more of your time on high value creation activities and your income will increase. To Your Success.

36. How To Capture More Readers
Here is what you can do to capture more readers. Just insert a email subscription box. You can use Feedburner to insert this. Then on your homepage, on the top site, insert some words of introduction to capture your visitors to become constant readers. You can write just like what I do here. Write an introduction then short description of what your blog is all about. After that you must tell your readers to subscribe to your blog posts. And you need to explain to them that their email will be kept safe with you, no spamming from you. And lastly, you must thank them for spending up their precious time with you. I can tell you that this will works, because I’ve did it. The readers who subscribe will definitely increase.

37. Add A ShoutBox Or ChatBox
Well, this is an alternative. You can add it or you can choose not to add this widget into your blog. For me, you can find one here, in The Millionaire Secrets. In my opinion, chatbox will be much more easier for me to track those who wanted to talk with me. Besides that, a chatbox work faster than leaving comments in a post. Those who have emergency can straight away drop me message, and I will reply them when I saw it. Of course, there are also some disadvantages of using them. One of the disadvantages are slow loading time. Since it is a widget and it is not necessary, it will slow down the loading time of your blog. And for some people, they will feel that by inserting this kind of chatbox in their blog, it will make their blog looks unprofessional. As for you, you can choose to use it or not to use it. It is totally up to you.

38. Develop A Posting Frequency
This is what you are going to decide once you start blogging. If you think that you are very busy, you can only write a two to three posts a week, and then make sure that you post two to three posts each week. Don’t sometimes posts a lot of articles in a day, then stop for a long time until the next post. This is not a constant frequency of posting. You must develop a habit that make you post at a constant frequency. Like me, I post an article each day. No matter how busy I am, I will try my best to post one. Most of the time I will write what I would like to post about few days before, and save it as draft. This way, when the times come I can simply change the date and publish my posh without using up a lot of time. You must first decide the posting frequency before you start your blogging journey.

39. Always Give Your Own Opinion
This is where I think my mistake is. I seldom include my own opinion in my blog. My blog sounds like guides and teaching site more than a blog. Do you think so? This is a blog, and it is not CNN news site hence we should always include our own opinion in our posts. A blog is a more friendly site than other complicated sites. Besides that, including our own opinion in our blog posts can make our post and blog more unique. This is what we need in order to make our blog stand out in front of all other blogs. There are so many blogs out there, the only thing that can make our blog so special is our own idea. Dare to be different. Therefore, always remember to include your own opinion in all of your posts.

40. Make Good Use of RSS Feed
For every blogs, you can subscribe with a RSS Feed. For example, if your visitors subscribe your blog with a RSS Feed, then when you post something new, your readers will received an email (if they choose email subscription) about the post. So that they can read it from the email without having to visit your blog. Now, there are good and bad for this. Because some people said that if readers are not visiting your blog, then how can you make more money out of your blog? There is a way you can make money out of this, but it will be much more harder than having readers to visit your site and earn. You can use Feedburner Feedflare, and some other methods. However, blog is a community, you must have large readership in order for you to keep going on. Some other money making ads like ReviewMe needs the number of readership on your blog, because how you get paid per review is totally depends on how many RSS subscriber you have and other ranking systems. In conclusion, you must have a large readership, community is much more important than short term income.

Your Value Determines Your Income

Hi, welcome back to The Millionaire Secrets. I hope that you’ve enjoy your time here and dig up all my posts here. i believe that my articles here can help you generate more income, help you getting one step closer towards your goals. Thanks for spending time with me here.

There are a lot of people in this world, who are making few millions each month, and there are also people who are making only few hundreds each month. There are so many examples of those young people making few millions each year out there. Some people who have MBA degrees, graduated from Harvard, but their income is much more lower than some people. What makes them so different from others? What determines their income? The answer is obviously the value.

Why is value so much powerful and it determines some one’s income? To be able to answer this, you will need to understand what is value and how you can increase your value so that you can increase your income. This is what I’ve learn from Adam Khoo. A person’s income is determined by the amount of value he or she created multiplied by the time he or she spends creating value multiplied by the scalability factor. To make it simple :

Income = Value x Time x Scalability

Therefore, if you want to increase your income, you will have to increase the amount of value you’ve put into work. So what is value? Let me tell you this metaphor that Adam always used to show people what exactly value is.

A Sony Ericsson 910i model that had a price tag of $1,400 and a Nokia 2600 with a price tag of $238. Now, why is one mobile phone priced seven times more than another? The answer is simple. It’s because one phone has a lot more functions and can hence create a lot more value to the user. The Sony Ericsson 910i is able to make calls, send & receive SMS, send & receive MMS, record and edit videos, play & edit music, take high quality pictures, surf the internet, entertain with games, send and receive emails, has word processing and spreadsheet capabilities, has Bluetooth technology and has an in-built personal digital assistant.

 

In short, it is not just a phone, it is a mini computer! It does a lot more than expected. It creates a lot more value for the user by allowing him to achieve his goals more efficiently. How about the Nokia 2600? Well, it’s just a standard mobile phone. It makes calls, sends and receives SMS, has entertainment games and a calendar. It creates a lot less value, and is hence priced lower. If the Nokia 2600 had a price tag of $1400, would you pay for it? Of course not. It’s just not worth the price. But if you had the money and needed to surf the net, manage your time, check emails and record images on the go, would you pay $1400 for the Sony Ericsson? Of course you would!

So let me ask you a question. Which mobile phone do you represent? What is the price tag that you carry? If you want to have a higher price tag and have people pay for you, then you must create the necessary value! What allows the Sony Ericsson 910i to create so much more value? The answer is that it has a lot more software installed. How does this translate to you? Well, in order for you to create a lot more value to your company and your clients, you must keep upgrading your knowledge and skills, your intellectual capital!

The very same principle applies in your life of pursuing success and wealth. So in order for you to increase your income, no matter in business or jobs, you will need to have to increase the amount of value you should put in. The more value you create, the more income will increase. Hence, create more value! To Your Success.

31. Participate In Discussion Board
By following this tips, you can actually increase traffic to your blog, lots of it. How? Very easy. There are a lot of blog discussion board all around, just like the one you can find in BlogCatalog. What you can do is then you can take part in these discussion board. Many bloggers will do the same in here. Some of them offering to review your blogs, and some of them offer to visit and leave good comments on your blog. There are a lots. You can also find your solution about blogging problems in the discussion board. But the most interesting post you can find in a discussion board is the kind that exchanges ‘favorite’ in Technorati, or Stumble Upon, and Digg. This way, you can get more traffic. Just like Stumble Upon, you can join the discussion board that exchanges Stumble upon. What I mean here is that you will need to stumble other people’s blogs and they will stumble yours. The same for Technorati, you exchange ‘faves’ with other bloggers. They ‘fave’ you and you ‘fave’ them back. You can check this out. Even I myself are joining these type of board discussion.

32. Why Do You Blog?
Yes, before you can blog, ask yourself this question, why do you blog? Why am I stressing this, because the reason for you to blog is a very important point if you want to be a successful blogger. Like most of my posts here, I will focus on the mindset before going into the technical part. So you will need to know the reason why you blog, then only you can concentrate on your blogging area. Some people blog for profit, they want to make more money with their blogs. Some people blog just to get well-known, they want people to know them, they want fame. Some people blog because of love, they blog for their lovers. And the worst, blog for nothing. Some people blog without having clear reason why they blog. And they will give up very quick once they get tired and got nothing to blog about. This mustn’t happen to you. That is why you will need to know what is the reason for you to blog. When you know why, nothing can ever stops you. When there is a will, there is a way. So by now I hope that you know why you blog. If not, please, find your reason now!

33. Multiple Streams Of Income
I like this phrase, Multiple Streams of Income. This tips is very important especially for those who wanted to make more money from their blog. Like the title, multiple streams of income, what you can do with your blog is to apply more money making machines into your blog. Of course, don’t over apply, because it will make your blog becomes an advertising site. Which will kills your blog and bring it down. I know that many people wanted to make more money with their blogs, but sometimes it is depends on your blog’s age and other factors. If your blog is still young and got only a few posts, the best is you keep focusing in building up your blog first, then only try to implement all the money making machines to your blog. You can insert Adsense to your blog, affiliate programs, advertising for others, networking programs, auction ads, and many more. Always put use more types of money making machines to multiple your incomes. Since you are going to drive traffic to your blog, why choosing either to use PPC or affiliate to make money? Use both!

34. Always Reply Your Readers Comment
This is a very common tips. I believe that you know about this, and you’ve heard it many times. But still I wanted to tell you about it. Although it is common, but it is also important and it is the basic of blogging tips. Everyone when somebody leave a comment in your blog, visit their blog back and leave a quality comment in their blog. Your readers will appreciate this very much. And if you have the time, visit their blog once in a while. This way, you can create a better relationship with your readers. This will improve your readership of your blog as well. If you don’t have any comments, then leave some in people’s blogs, they will reply you. The golden rule of life, “Do not do unto others what you don’t want others to do unto you”. So if you want comments, leave comments on others blog. And if you want to make more money, make other people rich, and money will flow to you. Very true. 35. Track Your Link And Reply
This is another good tips. What will you do when people link to you? Most of us only visit back their site, and leave a comment most probably. And for most people, they don’t even know how to track their links. You can track your link easily using Technorati. The Technorati “authority” is the links that pointed to your blog from other sites. The more links you have, the better, your blog will get rank higher in search engine. So once you’ve got new links, what you can do is to email to the author of the site which link to you, and thank them personally. This is always much better than visiting their site and leave comments to them. Email works more personally, and hence you will have better appreciation from those who linked to you. So now you know how to treat your blog’s reader and what you should do when people link to you. Actually, you can also link back to those sites which links to you as well. This will encourage reciprocal linking of your site.

26. Set Priorities For Your Blogging Tasks
This is what you can do to optimize your blogs. Distributing your blogging tasks like posting, reply comments, editing your blog are very important, and you must know how to schedule your time properly. As we all know, posting is very important for a blog, therefore you should put more of your time on posting first, then only spend the rest of your time for other stuff. Of course, this is just an example, you should decide your blogging task priority yourself. If you optimize and schedule your time perfectly, your blog can develop in a shorter time and achieve much more while you’re doing less. This is also another common mistakes that often done by other bloggers. Even I myself often did this mistake. Schedule your time properly for important task, and you can achieve your goals faster.

27. Have A Related Domain Name
I’ve seen many people are using their own names, or nickname as their blog’s domain name. Now it is not that this is wrong, but then if you want to have a higher page rank, then you should choose a domain name which has got relation with your blog’s topic. If your blog is about how to lose weight, and if your domain name is www.kelly123.com, then the first moment people look at your domain name, they don’t have any idea what your site is all about. The story will be different if your domain name is www.loseweight.com. Therefore, did you get what I mean now? By the way, having a related domain name also is part of on page optimization. Search engine will rank your site higher if your domain name has got relation with the keywords that people are looking for. And if you have your own domain, your Adsense earning will be much more. This is because Google will pay more for a main domain than a sub domain. Plus, having your own domain name will make your blog looks professional.

28. Create An Easy Navigation Site For Your Reader
This is what you will need if you wanted to increase your readership. Often, if your blog has got lots of posts, I’m sure your homepage won’t be able to show all of them. So, you will need to have some easy navigation buttons on your sidebar like the ‘Category’ of your posts. This will allow your reader to browse through your blog easier. And readers can also find the topics that interested them without wasting more time. If you don’t want to use a ‘Category’ section, then you can also create a button that leads to all your related posts. This is the same as you’re creating a Page of Content for your blog. Just like what I did here, in The Millionaire Secrets. I create a button which leads to my Content Page. In this page (post), it contains all of the topics that I’ve written and link to them. Trust me, I’ve got a sudden increase in page views after implementing this Content Page button. Besides that, having this page will also make easy for search engine crawler to crawl through your blog.

29. Always Participate In Forum Discussion When Free
Ok, when you are free, you can always take part in forum discussions. The reason? Very simple, I bet you know this, to promote your blog. How? Write up some attractive words on your signature box, and be sure to put your url or anchor text so that people can visit your blog. Forums are very good free advertising tools. You should make full use of it. If you want to know how powerful by promoting in forums can be, just read this post, Forums Can Make A Killing. I believe that after you’ve read that post, you won’t underestimate the power of forums anymore. And of course, driving traffic from forum is not a fast work. You will see the result after quite some time. So, you must persist with your hard work, don’t give up in the middle, or else all of your hard work will be wasted.

30. Decide It Is Great To Be A Blogger
Another tips here, you must tell yourself that it is great to be a blogger. Some people when facing problems like running out of topic to post, or feeling boring of maintaining a blog, they will give up. You must decide that it is great for you to be a blogger. Only then you will feel energetic when writing a post, digging for latest news about your niche. This is exactly what you need to success as a blogger. By doing so, you will feel excited when there are people who leave their precious comments in your blog, you will feel interesting when searching for more info about your niche. Many full-time bloggers out there treat their blog as their business, it is so great for them to be a blogger. They make most of their money from their blogs, and of course they spent a lot of time in their blogs as well. So ask yourself now, are you happy being a blogger so far?
