The Power Of Savings

Hi, welcome back to The Millionaire Secrets. Look around you, your friends and your families. How many of them are actually a Millionaire? None? But if I tell you that, in fact most of them can be a Millionaire merely with just savings, what will you think? This is true. Now allow me to tell you this fact. If you make good use of mathematics, and think logically, everyone of us has got the potential to be a Millionaire in our lifetime.

Why did I said so? Here is an example, if you are earning $3,000 per month, you will have made $36,000 a year. Then for over 40 years, you will have approximately $1.44 million! But of course you will say that, “Shawn, you forgot to deduct all the expenses”. Yea, indeed, I forgot to deduct all the expenses. But here’s the thing. What if you save 10% of your income, $3,000 each and every month? You then invest the 10% into stocks or mutual funds to get a 15% returns annually. Then for over 40 years, how much will you make? You will have made $6.914 million! So you see, by using the miracle of compounding and the power of savings, you can actually be a Millionaire in your lifetime!

But for most people, they spend what they earn. And after 40 years, they save none of their money. They will then blame the whole world just because they can’t save any money. So don’t be like everybody else. If you want to be a Millionaire, then follow the footsteps of a Millionaire. If you follow what ordinary people do, then you will end up like most people, you spend all that you’ve earned. Don’t just giving excuses by saying that “I’ll invest once I have the money”. This is not true. If you can’t even save $1 out of $100, then you won’t be able to save $100,000 out of $1 million.

Therefore stop giving excuses and stop procrastinating. Start your investment or business plan now. Time never waits for anyone, the day you stop and wait, you will lost the chance of becoming a Millionaire. Time can change everything. Slowly, day by day, although the changes is not much everyday. But through a very long time, a small piece of sand can be accumulated to become a big pile of sands. You must make good use of your time.

You can have a few piggy banks to help you save up your money. It is yours to decide how much you want to save and where the money shall goes. Maybe you can have 3 piggy banks, one is for your investment, one is for you to spend on your luxury items that you want to buy, another is for other business purposes. Well this is just an example. But you must start doing this right away. And always remember that the more you save, the shorter time you will need to become a Millionaire.

21. Stop Putting Tons Of Ads On Your Blog
This is what most people will do. When they found out that they can actually make more money using their blogs. Then they will start putting ads all across their blog. This is not a very good idea. Because when your blog is full of ads, it can be very irritated. You can insert ads, there is no wrong with it. But for all new bloggers, earning money from blog is not a good idea for them. Beginners should concentrate and focus on building up their blog and not merely just focusing on making money from blogs. I’ve also mentioned about this point in my previous post, 10 Common Blogging Mistakes. So you can always read more in my previous post about this matter. I know you want to make money from your blog, me too. But you need to develop your blog first, then only focus on making more money from your blogs.

22. Running Out Of Topics?
This is also one of the very main factor that people give up in blogging. They cannot find what topic to post anymore. Now this is not true. You can always be creative, think out of the box. Sometimes you may come across some very nice idea of what to write, but after awhile, you forgot and find that you’ve got nothing to write. So this is what I do, when I come across some nice interesting topics, I will straight away jot it down or memorize in my hand phone. This way, I won’t forgot any interesting topic to post anymore. As for you, you can always have your own way of remembering things though. All you need is to be creative and think out of the box. Sometimes you can also search for information to post about from the internet. However, please don’t simply copy and paste. You will get penalized by the search engine.

23. A Very Long Post? Break It Into Parts
I’ve come across some post, it is a very long post. But the topic is very interesting, so I start reading it. After awhile, I feel tired and stop reading it. This is what will happen if your blog post is too long. You can always break it into parts. Like what I do in this post. However, I’ve come across a very high trafficked blog, and the author’s opinion is that, he said he don’t even care about what others are saying. He will post whenever he want, and no matter how long the post will goes. Indeed he has got a very good blog with tons of visitors and readers. Its a waste that I forgot to bookmark that blog, or else I can show you here. So for me, I think the best is to break a long post into parts. Sometimes it is very irritated that a post is so long, and it may took lots of time to digest its content.

24. Avoid A Very Long Homepage
Now, this is also another problem. Some bloggers like to show all of their posts in a single page. Means that they show many posts in their homepage. What you will get is visitors will find your blog too lengthy, and off they go. People are lazy to scroll down so far to read your post. Make sure that you have a moderate number of posts on your homepage. Don’t make your homepage that long, because it has got so much things to load, it will eventually slow down your loading time. Actually The Millionaire Secrets loading time is also consider slow. Maybe is due to the templates, I’m not very sure. So now you know that people hate to scroll down to read a site, thus you must avoid this.

25. Be Generous, Give Away Stuffs
This is what you can do if you want to attract people in your blog. Honestly, there are many ways you can attract people to your blog or catch up more readers. One of the way is giving away free stuffs. Of course, I don’t mean to give away physical stuffs though. If you give away physical stuff then you will have to deal with all the shipping process which is very irritating. What you can give away for free then? This is a blog, so what do people like the most? Links and reviews. These two are just examples, there are still many more if you are creative to think for it. Review works great. I’ve seen this in many people’s blog. Here is an example, I’ve seen some blogs that having competition, asking readers to drop quality comments, and the one who leave the most comments win. The prize will be a review of the winner’s blog or site in the author’s blog. Great idea isn’t it? Therefore I always said that you must be creative and think out of the box. You can try to do so as well.

There Is No Instant Success

Yes, indeed there is no instant success. No matter which field you are in, the real estate, network marketing, investment like in stocks, and even the internet itself, there is no shortcut to success. If you want to make more money, then you will have to pay for it. You will need to spend a lot of time and effort in your business. I know that you can find a lot of ads that promise you how to make money online in a very short time.

Let me tell you the truth, there is no such thing as shortcut or instant success. Well I’m not saying that you can’t make millions from the internet. In fact the internet is the fastest and powerful leveraging tool that can make you a Millionaire. What I mean here is that, there is not instant success.

You will have to PAY for what you want. You need to exchange the money you make with energy and time that you are going to spend. When you come across any internet marketing guru claiming that he or she had made so much money overnight, and you’d better be careful of it, it might be a scam. Or maybe the internet guru is telling lies.

Talking about lies, there are a lot of people out there, who claim that they are a very successful marketer, and telling you how much they’ve earned. Most of them lie to you. Even if they do earn from their online business, but the amount may not be that huge. Therefore don’t fall for it. Why is this so? Because when the time you start running your online business, you’re still not making any money. So how are you going to convince people that your product is going to help them make more money while you yourself is not making any money? And this is what they do, telling lies.

However, for some of the products sold outside, they do really help you to boost your online income though. So you’d better make sure that the products are worthy before making any purchases. And are there any success tips for those who want to make more money online? Yes, there are a lot. But for me, many people lack of this, action. You need to take action, massive action if you want success in the internet. It is so easy for you to simply to download some e-Books that telling you how to make more money, it is so easy to read them. The hardest part is to take action. There is no use if you keep on reading, searching for info and keep on learning. You need to take action! Without action, there will be no result.

Don’t be afraid of taking actions and fail. Failure is just s stepping stone to success. The moment you start to take action, your life will start changing a little. Then the rest is depends on you. If you keep on without giving up, you will success. Thomas Edison did. He tried 10,000 types of item before he successfully invented light bulb. This brings the meaning that he had failed 10,000 times before he succeeds! So you now you know, failure is also part of success. eventually. Some people say, without failure, there will be no failure.

Actually, don’t worry about failure. No one will laugh at you if you fail. Look at Thomas Edison. When mention about his name, straight away you will think that he is one of the greatest inventor of all time. So no people will remember how much he had failed in the past, people only remembered his success. As a final word, success will never come to you automatically, you need to pay for it. Take massive action until the day you success.

5 Steps To Money Management

Welcome back to The Millionaire Secrets. Ok, this is about your financial management. Many people wants to be a Millionaire, but end up with nothing. Here are 5 financial management tips that can help you boost your income. I get this idea from Adam Khoo (one of Singapore youngest self-made Millionaire). Frankly, Adam is one of my favorite gurus, I’ve got almost all of his books. Before I tell you the 5 tips, you need to know some rough idea about money management first.

There are people who earn $1,000 every month, and claim that it is not enough (this is true though). However, there are also people who are earning $10,000 each month, and still claim that it is not enough. Why is this so? This is due to poor money management. Therefore you must know these 5 tips before you can increase your savings and reduce your expenses. You must spend time and effort into your money management, only then you can be rich. If you don’t know how to manage your money, then they will slip through your hand easily.

Don’t expect that this will happen automatically. Every rich people knows that it is their wealth their money, they need to manage them at least one hour a day. But for average people (who are not yet rich), they spend less than 1 hour each month managing their money. And that 1 hour usually is spend paying bills. That is why the rich is getting richer while the poor is getting poorer. But here are some tips that can help you manage your money.

1. Always Ask For Discount
You know, most of the stores that you bought your goods from, usually they are not fixed price. If you open your mouth and ask for discount, there are 70% of chances that you will succeed. Know this fact, if you have 10% of discount, you know what this means? This means that you have got an immediate 10% returns on your money. Over a long term, you will save more money than you can expected. (Psst, use the money you save and invest in money making strategies or anything that will make you richer.)

2. Always Ask For Receipt
Why you need a receipt? One reason, so that you can track every single expenses in the end of month. Depends on what goods you bought, if possible, claim it as business expenses and get a tax deduction.

3. At The End Of Month, Record All Your Expenses
You must record all your expenses in your personal financial management sheet. Be it in your note book or you can record it in your computer, with Excel. By doing so, only then you can track where your money has gone to.

4. Use Credit Card Whenever Possible
This is of course you must clear all the payment before the due date. At the end of month, you will receive statement which will make easy for you to record your expenses. In addition, many credit cards offer prizes if you use them more.

5. Update Your Income Statement In The End Of Month
Try to do a personal income statement that record all your incomes and expenses. Update it each month. You must use a system to track where every single dollar goes. Only when you know where your money is going, can you take steps to channel it to your savings and investments.

You must develop this money managing habits to get you richer. Although doing this everyday may sound tedious. But it is very important to know where your money has spent and how much you have saved. Many businesses failed because they don’t know how to manage their financial and money properly. So don’t be one of them! To your success.

16. Find Your Niche and Stick To It
Well, this is what you’re going to do with your blog. First you find a niche, which you like to discuss about. It can be your hobby. Like discussing about football, or anything that you like. Then stick to it. This is the hardest part. Most bloggers fail, not most bloggers actually. I should say, most people fail because they give up, they don’t stay long enough. If they keep on, success will eventually become theirs. To make achieve this, you must find a topic which you like to talk about. If your blog topic is about something that you don’t like, do you think that you can stick with it long enough? I bet, you will give up very soon. So, be wise when choosing your niche. And if you want to make more money from your blog, don’t write about personal life stories. This is because not everyone are interested in your personal life. Except your friends and family. But if you are an artist, singer, actor, please do so.

17. Always Post About ‘How To’
This is what they said. The ‘how to’ posts will drive more traffic to your blog. I’m not sure, but what I know is that readers like these kind of posts. The ‘how to’ here means post that teach people on certain subject. For example, ‘how to make a vanilla pudding’, ‘how to jump higher when playing basketball’ and etc. So now you know, readers like to read these kind of posts, you must be clever to capture readers’ heart. Always post more about ‘how to’. The reason I think here is mostly because people who are surfing the web, are looking for information. They want information that can benefit them, and all these information mainly are those ‘how to’ info.

18. Always Exchange Links With Other Author
This is what you need to do ALWAYS! Links are very important if you want your blog to stand out among others, or easier to be searched in search engine. As you know, there are millions of blogs out there in cyberspace. So are you expecting that writing some good quality posts going to make you tops 10 in search engine? Don’t even dream about it. You are going to compete with millions of bloggers, and thousands of full time bloggers. What you can do is to find more links. Always ask for link exchange from other sites or blogs. The best is the site is in the same topic as yours. This is a slow but a must do process for your blogs. Some sites, mostly not blogs, are using auto link exchanger to get to the top in search engine. So you can imagine how crucial links are for internet websites.

19. Add A Subscription Box For Your Readers
This is what you can do for your blog readers. Readers who are interested in your blog post may subscribe to your blog. And whenever you publish a post, your subscriber will receive it via email. You can have this service free from FeedBurner. Just like my blog, The Millionaire Secrets. It has got a subscription box on the side bar. Therefore readers can always subcribe to your blog posts. Why you need this? Of course, one of the reason is to have more returning visits from your loyal readers. When they received the email, they may visit your blog. Another reason is that this will make your blog looks more professional, and you can attract loyal readers this way. Since this service is free from FeedBurner, why don’t you try it?

20. Link Back To Your Older Posts Whenever Possible
I’ve talked about this in my previous post, 10 Common Blogging Mistakes. You know what, if you have a good post, then you definitely want a lot of links which are pointing toward it. You don’t want your readers to miss out a good post in your blog right. So this is what you need to do. When you mention about something that has connection with your older topic, be sure to link to it. 11. Treat Blogging As Your Hobby
Yea, this is what blogging is all about. Before I get to knew about blogging, I don’t even know what blogging is. And I thought all we can write in blogs are just personal matters. But then after I’ve gone through some very successful blogs, only then I knew that blogs are just not mean for personal life stories. More can be achieve with blogs. Its been few months since I blogged. Now, blogging has become part of my life, I’ll write at least one post everyday. Frankly speaking, I likes blogging. It has become one of my hobby. This is what you need to. Love to blog, only then you will blog with enthusiasms. And with your enthusiastic attitude, you will automatically put more effort into your blog. Write more good post and always update your blog.

12. Always Visit Other’s Blogs
This is what you can do when you’re free. Always visit other people’s blogs. Why? When you do this, I’m sure you will eventually come across with great blogs. And you can get more idea from other people’s blogs. How they blog, their blog design, their content and etc. Besides that, if you saw a highly trafficked blog, you can then consider to subscribe to their posts. This will be very helpful especially if the blog you subscribe is in the same niche as yours. You can also drop comments on other’s blogs. Make more friends in blogsphere. If you drop comments on other’s blogs, most of them will reply you back. This is also an alternative way you can increase your traffic.

13. Always Do Stat Tracking
Another important task you need to do is to track your traffic. You must insert some stat counter in your blog to track your blog traffic. Here are two suggestions:
StatCounter
SiteMeter
Why did you need to know where your traffic come from? Let me give you a brief example. Lets say you check your traffic stat today, and you discover that almost all of your traffic came from goarticles. So what can you do with this information? You can concentrate on writing more articles and submit them to goarticles. This will further boost your traffic. And of course, there are still more features and information you can dig from your traffic stat. This is just one of the example. Know more about your traffic, and you can increase your traffic well.

14. Allow Anyone To Comment
I don’t know whether you’ve allowed anyone to comment in your blog. If you’ve not done so, please allow anyone to be able to drop comment in your blog now. If you’re afraid of people spamming or dropping irritated comments, you can always allow moderation to your comments. You can set this under ‘Setting’. I believe you do want people to say about your blog or your posts right.

15. Give Time For Your Blog
This is what most people failed at. They want quick success in just few days, they want to be a Millionaire in a very short time. This is not possible. Although the internet already serve as a very powerful leveraging tool, but there is no instant success. This is what I think. Everything, needs time to develop. And this include your blogs. If your traffic is not high enough, then maybe your blog is still young. However, how much time do you need to have your blog develop, it will depends on how much effort you’ve pour in. It is always like this, how much time and effort you’ve put into your blog, you will get back the exact rewards from it. Nothing more nothing less. Action Is What You Need

It’s been awhile since I got involved in this internet marketing, figuring out how to make more money online. One of the reason why people can’t success online is because they didn’t take the necessary actions. Why did I said so, because I’ve seen many people are like this, including myself. In this cyberspace, we already flooded with information. You can download ebooks, read articles, find any information on how you can make more money online from the web anytime.

But the main challenge is are you going to take actions after reading those ebooks. You see, to make more money online is something of your own. The time you spend on it and the effort are totally depends on you. I mean, they are flexible enough, even if you don’t take actions, it will still ok with you. You’re not going to die if you’re not making any money from it. Online business is something like this, how much you earn, will depends on how much effort you put on it.

Of course not every information are useful and really going to help you. But they can work as a guide, they can guide you. However, guide without action is nothing but a waste of your precious time. Let me put it this way, you cannot learn how to ride a bicycle by reading book! You need to get on your bicycle and ride it. This is what Robert Kiyosaki always said. All the information you’ve got is just the guide, the action is what matters the most.

So now you get what I mean. Think about this phrase :
“The one who has knowledge is power, or the one who knows to applied knowledge?”

In fact, taking action is one of the necessary step to success in my Ultimate Success Formula. Therefore, don’t waste your time by only reading on how to success. You need to take actions to be successful! So start from today, plan your steps toward your goals. And take actions. To your success.

Ok, welcome back to The Millionaire Secrets. Here are The Ultimate Blogging Tips, Part 2.

6. Always Ping After Posting
This is what you need to do after every posts. Remember, always ping your blog. This is to make sure that search engine spider will always crawl your blog after you’ve updated it. Search engines like sites that are always updated. Therefore you must ‘ask’ the crawler to crawl your blog regularly. This will also help you improve your ranking in search engine. A site which always updated is will rank higher than a site that seldom update. This will also help you tell your subscribed readers that you’ve publish a new post. You can ping your blog here at Ping-o-Matic!

7. On Page optimization
You can do this very easily. You can bold of italic your keywords that you want to optimize for in every of your posts. This is a strategy to that can help you increase your ranking in search engine. For example, if you are targeting keywords like make more money online, then you can bold those words. Just like what I did here in my blog. Although on page optimization is less important than off page optimization (Number of links). But on page optimization still is a factor that will affect your search engine ranking. This is a very simple step that you can take. So be sure to bold or italic your keywords in your blog content. There are still many other on page optimization you could do, but this is for now.

8. Update Your Blog Regularly
I believe you’ve heard this over and over again. But since this is also consider as a blogging tips, so I included it here in The Ultimate Blogging Tips. You know, a blog is something like a diary, just that it is in electronic form. A diary is something that you should write down everyday, so goes for blogs. You should always publish new posts in your blog. The best is everyday, but if you’re busy, then go for at least 5 posts a week. This is what most people do with their blogs, post regularly. If you don’t have any topics to write on, simply use the search engines or any article directories to look for your topics. But don’t copy other people’s content. Just the rough idea, and write with your own words.

9. Include An “About” Section
I’ve stress about this in my previous post, 10 Common Blogging Mistakes. In fact, all the points in that post can be insert here. Why do you need an “About” section? Very simple, you want your readers to know more about you. And if you’re promoting products in your blog, a brief profile of yourself will definitely increase the credibility of your blog and products. Readers and visitors will trust your products more if they know more about you, right? By the way, you can consider including your photo in your blog as well. I’m going to make this short, because you can read the rest here, in 10 Common Blogging Mistakes.

10. Use Simple Language
A blog is site, a more user-friendly site. And if you tell your friends about your blog, the first thing goes into their mind is that they will think that your blog is about your personal life. Most people don’t know that blogs can be use for money making purposes. So, what I’m going to tell you is that, because content will be your main reason why visitors coming to your blog. Therefore you should have a friendly content, write using simple language. You want to be friend with your readers, and not those buyers-sellers relation. Don’t make your blog too formal, a warm friendly feeling blog is a good blog. So you get me, write in plain language just like you always talk to your friends. It will be even better if you can write in those language that a 7 year-old child can understand you. This will make sure that your readers understand what you’re going to tell them.

The Inner Giant In You

Well, here is a tip for you to help you achieve your goals faster and easier. In fact this is a very powerful tool that you can use for free. If you use it wisely and positively, I believe that achieving your goals will be soon.

It is your inner dialogues, the inner part of you. Do you notice that most of the time there is some one talking to you in your mind? That’s it, the inner giant which resides in your mind since the time you were born. If you are not aware of this giant, you can try doing this. Just sit down and keep quiet. You will listen a voice talking to you constantly.

Your inner giant can be good or bad. If you have a positive habits, then most likely your inner giant is good. However if you have a negative habits, then most probably your inner giant is bad. But most people will have a bad inner giant. Why did I said so? Because most people want to improve their situation, but their inner giant is pulling them back. Do you have this kind of situation before? You want to wake up at 7am in the morning to finish off your homework. But when your alarm is ringing, you switch it off, and you heard a voice telling you, “I’m too tired, I’ll sleep another 30 minutes first”.

Well this is just an example. I believe everyone faced this kind of situation before. How much you can achieve and how much fulfillment in your life is directly proportional to your inner giant. Therefore you must learn to understand more on how your inner giant works. Only then you can improve your life and achieve your dreams even faster. Take back the previous example. If you have a positive inner giant, you may hear “It’s 7am, wake up and finish off my homework then I can enjoy”. You will straight away wake up and finish off your homework. See how powerful your inner giant can be?

You must know how your inner giant is develop. Your inner giant will get influence by surrounding. If you are staying with a bunch of hardworking friends, then mostly you will have a hardworking inner giant. But if you are staying with a bunch of lazy friends, then you will waste a lot of time watching tv, playing games and etc. What you want is a positive lifestyle that can bring you to success. Therefore you must know how you can control your inner giant.

How you can develop a positive inner giant within you? Very simple, always tell yourself good and positive words. Shake off all the negative words when they come to your mind. Keep on doing this. After a few months, you will find that your inner giant has become a positive giant that always help you in achieving a successful lifestyle.

After a long consideration, I finally decided to write a post about this. If I found out more about Blogging Tips, I will write them down here under this title. The Ultimate Blogging Tips. So this will not be the only post for The Ultimate Blogging Tips.

Here, I’m going to make them as simple as possible, as straight forward as possible. So here are The Ultimate Blogging Tips:

1. Simple Blog Design
I believe you’ve heard this phrase before, “Simply The Best”. So you got it, make your blog as simple as possible. The only thing you should pay more attention to is your content. Write something that is very informative and you will eventually get the traffic you wish for. If your blog design is too complicated, most of the visitors will feel messy about your blog then you will waste your traffic. Plain simple design will be the best.

2. Your Content Is King
Always remember this. In blogging sphere, content is the most important ingredient if you want to success in blogs. Why are people visits your blog? Because your blog has got information they’re looking for. If you don’t have anything that can attract visitors, then there will be no reasons for them to come to your blog. Here is what you can do about your content. Try to use a appearing colour for your content compare with all the other words outside of your content. You want to make your content easy to read and stand out. Dull font options will make your visitors difficult to read. This is especially true if your post is very long and full of words. Visitors are not going to read something that is very long and difficult to read. So you get my point here.

3. Use Less Techie Widgets
Its nice to have a high tech widget stay in your sidebar. But if they’re too much, then your visitors might attracted to them and follow the link to other sites. This is what you don’t want. Besides that, using too much high tech widgets will make your blog loads slower. Again, you may lost visitors due to this reason. It is not that you can’t use any of them, but my suggestion is, use less. Don’t let your widgets eat up your traffic.

4. Make Your Blog As Professional As Possible
You can achieve this via many ways. One of them is use a standard font size and colour for all the words in your blog. For example, use blue colour to indicate links. In the world of internet, everyone knows that blue means link. As for your title and sub title, you can also standardized the colour. Do not use all different colour, they will look confusing and unprofessional.

5. Repeat Your Best Posts
You may want to repeat your best post, but in a different manner. I’m not asking you to repost the same thing exactly. You can stress back again with your best post in your blog. Some visitors might miss your best post. You want people to read about your best right, so this will be it. However, don’t keep on doing this though. Or else your visitors may think that you don’t have any other topics to write.
